hehehe hmmmm i guess its not only the seafarers who will be called sex maniacs, even those who work on land even here in Philippines which who are more frequent into that thingy than the seafarers cause seafarer's usually say's in a short period of time in the port which is it is hard for them to screw (i knew a lot of guys and girls who are not faithful with there relationship and that really sucks and guess what they are not seafarer's)

@iya6dec u seem dont know whats the reality now,,,today,every port,no more women allowed to get inside the terminal,,nor even visitors,,unless they have special purpose in visitng the ships...its all started after the 9/11 attack in america..ISPS or International Ship and Port Facility is implemented to all terminal and port...im a seafarer,,proud seafarer..an educated seafarer of today..

wow! amazing movie!!!!!!!!!! nako loboyving, di sariling sikap kmi, may shoreleave nman, kahit saang port, hahahaha!!! ang pagiging seaman lahat ng emotions nasa seaman, :-), favorite weapon ko is prayer :-) , yang lang ang panlaban sa lahat ng emotions sa baro,, lalo na ang mga seaman sa tanker katulad ko hihihi :-) lagi sa dagat... di katulad ng containership at bulk every port report... hahaha!!!

@MrBabyboss12 i agree with that im a new officer in the ship.im still young.im just 22,all i can say,2days seafarer are all educated and properly trained..i am already 2yrs in the field all are international trade, no experience that in every port girls are coming aboard the ships.before its a tradition but sad to say today,in the modern world of seafarer,,no more like that..we are now focusing on our safety and delivering the cargo which every country needs,,,thats why im proud to be a SEAFARER

i watched this film last feb.17 but sad to say only selected movie theater was available. maganda ung story nakakarelate ako kc i was a seaman's wife..curiousity sake na din kung ano ba talaga ang buhay na meron sila at kung totoo ba ung mga hersay's about sa seaman. and for sure the story was good. family first pa din at the end ang pipiliin mo kahit ano pa ang mangyari. :)

last... THE SOUND! when will we ever give importance to the fidelity of sound.  the dialogue tracks here were never mixed nor cured. not to mention the ambient sound. huwag ung parang lata ang tunog, parang AM radio days. actually maganda na rin ang AM pag sa internet nakinig. oh well....

well for sure they have to show some skin. para que pa kinuha si ara diva? old school. but i have nothing against that as long as its tastefully done. what im more concerned about is the lack of creativity and effectivity in making a trailer. just using a song to make an mtv type of trailer won't work. you can make good trailers for bad movies. I hope they do better with their 30s and 1minuter trailers. Oh yeah, and I hope the story and plot devt dont suck again oh well....
