How do you know that? Do you know someone who raises one? The dogs are worth a lot of money and there's just too much money involved to not keep your dogs healthy or not take them to a vet. APBT breeds don't take their dogs to a vet.

well i personally love the american bullies over the game bred pits game bred pits are ok if u out in the country where no one is near u but i live in the city and i love the temperment of the bullies great family dogs and dont get me wrong i have had my share of game dogs and not a very good experience
these dogs are tha ultimate companion.. tha need for a high strung game bred pit is no longer needed in this country, tha majority of them are for illigal purposes anywayz.. u cant even walk a game bred into petsmart or down tha street without it wanting to hit on something.
y bother with such an anmimal in these dayz of age.. with bsl hitting hard, we need to show tha public that there is a new style of bulls that are bred differently. and act it. !!!

These dogs aren't the future, they are not even close to a game bred dog. Breed standards are less than half the weight of some of these beasts. Last I heard the UKC was trying to pull the registrations of dogs like that. Maybe they could register a new breed 'american bully', it's insulting to call most of those Pit Bulls.

What i can't stand is no ''American Bully'' owner or breeder does health testing. I bet a lot of these dogs have heart & hip problems.
And, there's no fixed standard. they vary greatly. Some are 14'' and others are 23''

an American bully was developed by breeding stocky pitbulls and Amstaffs, or simply big stocky pit bulls. also other bully breeds were introduced.
The american bully is not a breed yet so it would be a cross.

go to the ukc website. they are recognized as a full breed. They are newer however, so other associations such as the akc do not recognize them.
