  • Just saw another in our tree and he didn't stay long and wasn't is a good position to capture him.

  • Love this video. I just captured photos of one at Byodo-In Temple on Monday, and he sang for us, but I did not get it on video.

  • I agree...they are unique birds and sing beautifully. I hear him/her sometimes but never as close as when I was able to capture it on video.

  • Growing up in Wahiawa Heights, Hawaii, I loved the shama birds. I loved drinking my coffee and reading the paper and listening and watching them. Such beautiful birds.

  • Isn't he beautiful? I was so lucky he stayed long enuff for me to capture his singing at close up. Most of the time, he sits high up in the tree.

  • I'll post my video of "Frank", the shama outside of my window.

  • I'd love to see "Frank"...most of the ones I've watched are caged - so nice to see Shamas that are free to fly around and share their music.

  • Just uploaded it

  • Thanks...not sure why I have 3 when the other day, I had only 1 posted. How do I delete the duplicates?

  • nice bird
