  • i also go to Belmont High, which runs along the tracks (literally 7 meters fromt he tracks), and the trains are so loud

  • When you are that close you have to be careful that something isn't sticking out from the train that can hit you. And in the case of high speed trains there is some suction that can cause a person to lose his balance perhaps. Also, you are making the engineers nervous as hell.

  • I think it is in Brazil where kids surf the trains. That is they stand on top of the cars and ride. Most of these people probably have IQs equivalent to that of a dog, or perhaps a cat. Frequently these people splatter themselves all over something. What a way to go.

  • i live in belmont, iv been inbetween passing trains, scary as fuck

  • Nice, but short. Still the luck twice of 2 trains coming from both directions.

  • wow that was a nice video and ATTENTION ALL PEOPLE ADD MORE VIDEOS TO RAILROAD CROSSINGS we NEED MORE VIDEOS!

  • there is a black box on the side ( telling the cab car number) , thats how i tell.

  • Thanks. I'll look for that.

  • Another way to tell, the cab control car has horns on top. You can see them in the first passing, the second pass, they zoom by so fast, you can't see them.

  • Hard to see in this video. But now I'll know what to look for.

  • I mean the coaches ;)

  • How can you tell the cab contol equipped cars from the others without looking inside?

  • wow!!! That last train was all cab cars.

  • Engine on the back.

  • So this is the so-called "quiet zone."

  • Two trains at once makes a pretty good racket.

  • Seems to me that rains used to make alot more noise when I was a kid 50 or 60 years ago. I saw just the tail end of steam. Seems like yesterday.

  • Nice getting two shots of two trains passing. A small suggestion, film from in front of the crossing and get the crossing signals in the video activating as the trains approach the crossing. That would be cool! I go over this crossing around 7:15AM most weekday mornings.

  • I have a video from that vantage point somewhere out here.
