I don't think it so much matters what make of guitar you play this on: Stratocaster, Telecaster, or even a Gibson with phase switch, as long as its in single pole, and doesn't use a lot of distortion. I think it would actually sound best on a telecaster. If this is played on a Strat, though, I can't argue with that.

Sweet cover...on the end of the A minor, looks like you're only playing the sixth string (5 sl 7) with pinky. That's the way that most of the song is played.  But I think there's at least one that ends with a minor slide on both the sixth and fourth strings (6/7 to 6/8 and 4/7 to 4/9). I play this with middle on sixth @ 7, index on 4th @ 7, then slide up middle on 6th @ 8, and hammer on ring on 4th @ 9. Basically, its exactly what you're playing, except with adding the 4th string (7 sl 9).
