Really excellent playing and multitrackingf. thanks for this; if you've no objection, I'll use it in my Intro to Music class as an illustrative example of fugue, recorder artistry and multitracking magic.
Sure, it's tenor, bass in F, and twice great bass in C. I've actually ordered a subbass in F so I might be putting some videos up with that after Fall of next year.
Wow, you're a great player:D But I like most of your multi-view melodica tracks better<:)
Suggestions: This recording could have had a lot better lighting: darker windows & more lamps on you. Wear a different outfit for each track so it's easier to tell when each part is played, & mult vid angles. For comparison check some of charlez360's covers, esp these:
You're right, this one does have its problems. I'd like to do it again, especially since I may be getting a double F bass recorder soon. Thanks for the comment and subscription.
I'm really surprised this doesn't have more views. It's incredibly well done! This is very difficult music; it's amazing that you can play all 4 parts!
excellent. I like how the ambient lighting reveals which was recorded first, etc. And the intonation is perfect, which is especially shown in the chord at the end. I like how two players share a book. Can you do this overlaying with IMovie?
that was wonderful! very skilled player/players lol Did you use ear buds to keep yourself steady or did you have a metronome and count your rests before entry?
Thanks Lypur! I used a metronome pretty prominently for the first few voices, then faded it out to the background for the last voices so that they would rely more on each other instead of the metronome.
No words, you guys (pardon, you guy) are fantastic, keep posting please!

Incredible! Would you describe the instruments you're using, from left to right? For example, is the "small" recorder a tenor?

Thanks! I start with the first voice, with a metronome, and keep the metronome for the other parts, but rely on it less after the first entry.

Awesome job. I'm planning on doing the same thing for this piece but on sax (minus the video). The chord at the end was an awesome payoff.

Thanks Joe. I use Final Cut Express. Unfortunately iMovie doesn't allow for Motion editing.
