personally I think this sounds a little 2 dirt bike-ish but the thumper is a great bike. If you really want to go crazy on the blast for HP than google Buell Blast big bore kit, and chose the first link for NRHS and you can turn the docile Blast "er" into a 12ga.

It's not really a discrepancy...the HP claimed by Buell was more than likely not measured at the wheels. There is always some parasitic loss from the engine to the wheels, so if the ENGINE is producing 30hp, seeing 19hp at the rear wheel is pretty accurate. Getting it up to 26hp at the rear wheel with just the can and rejetting is pretty good, man!
I just wanted to add this little snippet. When I was looking for new bikes the BMW claims something rediculous like 168 horse. It actually only dynos out to low 140's, which is still a lot, but most manufactures claims come from straight engine pulls before they go anywhere near the bike. Get your shit dyno'd if you really want to know, i guess.
@wrestlr1483 A good rule of thumb is to expect ~20% of any engine's horsepower to be lost going from the engine to the wheels on a stock vehicle. This, as far as I know, applies to both two- & four-wheeled vehicles. We can thank emissions law that the percentage is so high.
@JBCPES603 they state it as bhp which is brake horse power i think and it is measured at the flywheel not the rear wheel so there is a drop in what you actually have to play with.

Yeah...you have to push it way up in the r's in third and fourth gear and then hope for no hills if you want to get it much over 95. i weighed about 275 with all my gear on and i could get it up around 96 or 97 with a long straight.
It was definitely as loud as my brothers fatboy with screamin' eagle pipes. My new bike is WAY louder than the fatboy...put's it to shame with the sound quality and obviously speed.
mine looks and is exactly like urs! its red but i took off mirrors and shield, its dynojetted stage 1 and has vance and hines exhaust! we are like twins!
The 9's are amazing bikes too! tons of torque still and they are a little lower to the ground for shorter people...i'm 6'1" and i can get my feet flat on the ground with a little bend in my knees but i've let shorter people sit on it and they're all tippy-toes! i say definitely go for it!
well if you want it done right you either read how to take a carb apart and (if you are good with mechanics) rejet it youself. or you take it to someone who knows how.

My blast is stock, it gets to about 86mph.
i plan on getting this pipe and rejetting the carbs hopefully would hit 95-100mph
