I think he's playing this number with a Hammond... with a Roland Strings or Roland Syntheziser. In the late 70's I have also such a Roland Strings and I played Wintermemories on that Strings... it was very like the sound by Guilini.
Nostalgie ten top en mooie herinneringen bij het horen van dit prachtige nummer van Yvan Guilini. Mijn ouders dansten vaak op dit nummer...... Bedankt voor de upload !
@Socratess2007 Who else but Nonkel chuck would tell you this was produced by Karel Bogard on his Dwarf Label in 1976, Walt? There is certainly a lot of mooing going on here in the comments - you must forgive my silly thoughts, as this is the sound our cows make in English. Isn't that just 'great'?
This is hard to believe it's just a Hammond organ, the sound is the lushest I've ever heard from a Hammond! It actually sound more electronica than organ. Can you tell me more about this? chuck
@chkjns From what I've been able to find after all these years (single was released in 1976 !!) looks like Yvan played this tune on a Wersi Organ. It seems there was a specific website about him and his music once, but this seems to have disappeared now. What I can tell you is, that his daughter Carolina Guilini also works in the music industry (or has been working there anyway) ....... Yvan Guilini comes from the famous "World Heritage" town of Bruges
@Socratess2007 reviewing my Hammond Favorites list & somehow I'd included this song from another tuber & it had ghosted out :( Should have included this version to begin with! A viewer says Hammond here, not Wersi. So I'll plug myself again & say this is just one of 100s of playlists on my channel as my tribute to the best of a century of music. Also made sure this is in 1976 in my series of playlists for every year since 1900. & thanks to all the uploaders who make the music happen here! chuck
Heerlijk om nog eens terug te horen, de tekening van het platenhoesje heeft me in mijne jonge tijd een 9/10 bezorgd in de tekenles, mooi om nog eens terug te zien.
Yvan Guilini... a great musician!

I will ask Yvan if I see him. I also wonder which organ it is he played on.
