boss slide show, especially the way you have the lights come on down the street but with still photos. You know how full the snow train was? Hope to meet you at Winter Rails.

The Snow Train was very full. Infact, half of the buses used to transport people from the train to downtown, had to make the 2 trips between the Leavenworth Station and the Transit Center. Plus, I talked to the Amtrak Conductor at the station and it was very packed.

In January 29-31, there is the Tracks in the Snow railfanning trip at Stevens Pass. It would be a full 3 day railfanning trip and it is based in the Cascadia Inn at Skykomish, WA. That is where most people will be lodging if they are planning to stay overnight for the whole trip. For me, since I live in Everett, I'm hoping to do a day trip for Saturday, January 30th with them. So, if you can go on January 30th, I'll be with them most likely if all works out.
