Don't gut the cat, it messes up the air flow characteriatics and you will actually lose power. If you don't want the cat put a pipe or glasspack in its place.

@MegaMoto4 Your clutch was shit to begin with then. I have a 4 inch lift and 33's on my 95 f150 w/4.9l and stock 3.55 gears. I have been running like that for over a year with no issues. I also beat the hell out of my truck off road. Either it was already shot, or you just can't drive a manual.

Depends on if your Cat(s) are clogged or not. If they aren't then you won't notice much of an improvement moving to no cats or free flowing cats. If you have two cats, like my '95 300, an O2 sensor will be between the two cats and will throw a running rich code and the computer will try to compensate and your mileage will go out the window from there.
