Nice! My grandkids are into this type of music, but I'm not that familiar with it. Interesting demo. I played around with a very simplified version of this on an Amiga computer in the late 80's. What a real shame this machine is no longer in production. Despite what others say NUMARK ARE NOT AKAI and never will be. That MPC5000 they have made is not an MPC. Its a dumbed down, lack of feel pile of nonsense. Numark to me were always the company to avoid when buying DJ mixers etc. How ironic they ended up buying the Akai name...shame, real shame.

But the MPC4000 is still a mega relevant machine today. Beats all other boxes except for the Elektron Machinedrum

@Sumen91 well to be honest i really think that mpc are way better but maschine is just as good. First the price range is obvious the maschine wins on that. Second Native instruments comes out with lots of awsome updates for free. Third the Maschine is just small light and convinient i really like how i can hook up anything that has a midi. Overall i think maschine is better but still if money isnt a issue the MPC 4000 is better and also the MPC 4000 has both midi and analog
