This is one of the most underrated movies ever. This movie is just to cool not too like it. The casting, the music, the story. everything comes togheter in this movie. Liv Tyler is underrated as an actress anyway , probably because of her dad being famous and all. Liv Tyler rules she can act.

One of the main reasons why I liked this movie so much is because I worked for a record store called "DJ Records" and much of what went on in that record store is kind of mirrored in Empire records. The music in the movie is great too and being an avid AC/DC fan (probably the best rock band ever), it just was the cherry on the cake. All in all Empire records sure brings back those memories of working at "D.J. Records".
