omg nice song and nice voice, you really brought the feeling of the song out!
regardless whether ppl say it's falsetto of not, as long it's strong and it sounds beautiful when used, it doesn't matter! :D (anw I really believe that it's not, it could very well be modal, I also have such a strong head that it's stronger than my bass voice so go figure. :/ )
anw how did you get this spectrometer thing? haha it's really interesting, I would want to try it out too.
@ergonomover Thank you. I did this one to show folks that while it may sound like a falsetto production, it isn't. It's me. I actually can go higher than that last note as I am trying to expand my range. I am almost back to where I was when I was in my 20's! :-)
Nice going on this one Chris, enjoyed my listen. I have no interest in if you are singing like a falsetto or what so ever. It's all about you, thats whats matters. Believe me you are forme just good enough in the way you are! So GREAT!!!!!!
Thank you!!!! :-) I use to have it better when I was younger, then when I didn't sing for over 25 years I kind of lost that connection but I am slowly getting it back!
You are going to have memorize that! :-) Still C4 is low for my head voice. A lot of alto countertenors can go into head voice down to mid c. I think I am more mezzo in my tessitura.
Not bad, I love Patsy Cline actually :)

Thank you Henk. You know exactly what to say to make me feel good about my singing, but then you have always known how to do that.

that's interesting but shouldn't you give an example in falsetto to compare the formants in both cases?? Also, what is the program you are using?
cuicuimusic 2 years ago
I have been thinking of showing different examples. I'll try to do a falsetto one, it is hard for me to sing falsetto.
I am using spectogram 16. PM me for more info.

Doesn't sound or look like falsetto to me!
Hah! Nice work, I love it. I'm jealous of the range of your voice, and how even your vibrato is!

I'm not sure Chris even has registers! I think it's all head voice from C3 up! LOL
;P Chris
aaronsande 2 years ago
Ha! I have a lower register! C3 is pretty low for head voice. I think my head voice gets to E4.
;P
