The engine is completely stock with 110,xxx miles on it... iv only changed the exhaust, gears, and shifter at this point.

@JacksonLX50 nice. i have a 91 5.0 crown vic. we have the same engine so im not putting you down, but it seems like theres something holding it back, like mufflers. but then again, i got duals with no mufflers since speed isnt my number on priority. with no mufflers, its really loud. just a thot, nice car.

i have owned a 88 iroc and i have a 92 mustang gt and i have to say my mustang is smaller u know..i weight my stang and it weight 2800 with me and a full tank of gas..

hey exactly what exhuast you running? i know it says shortys, o/r h-pipe and flowmaster 40 series...but is what h-pipe and headers you running? thats sounds extremely smooth..i like my bbk shortys, o/r x-pipe and super 44's...but i like how smooth this sounds...thanks

Thanks! The shorties are just some cheap Flowtechs and i got the H pipe for cheap from a mechanic who had it laying around... it looked new so i took it but i dont kno what brand it is... the muffler-back is stock 2.25".

if you want the truth your Iroc stock is equal to a 5.0 stang actually perhaps less my 87 Trans Am GTA (pretty much an iroc that looks better with a pontiac logo) was about the same as my 5.0, till i spun a bearing i had such high hopes for that GTA 5.7 L98 coupled to the manual tranny was killer to drive but they are heavy as hell

Im getting ceramic coated shorty 1-5/8" headers either flowmaster or mac, Mac o/r H with 2.5" cat-back with 3.5" tips..Im thinking itll sound kinda the same.. 85' Mustang Cobra - Mods - New intake, carb, clutch, flywheel, shortthrow and soon to be heads and cam with the 8.8" rear end with 3.55 gears. I cant wait for all it to get here ^_^

Sweet! Ya it should sound similar (until you do the cam and heads)... next up on my list is 3.55s (i already have em but i havent installed em yet)! How do you like the 355s? You oughta put a clip of your stang up with the exhaust!

I am GETTING the 3.55s with the axle later on this year. Got my stock 3.23's in it right now (which are only good for highway gasmilage lol). But I sure will put up a vid of my exhaust when its here and installed. Should be anywhere from 3-4 weeks (sorta straped for time to do it). Could you feel the difference in power from stock to aftermarket?.. Im expecting 20ish horses which is 10% more from stock so i will hopefully feel it :)
