Well spoken, but it will never happen for Arabs. Anti-Arabism has been a problem in the Americas for centuries and before that it was in Europe. Its rooted in the white peoples' mentality that they are the only civilized folks in the world and that it would be best if everyone else follwed their example. First of all, Arab does not equal Muslim. Second of all, I know that this is sadly true in many European countries, because these Arabs came from counties such as Morrocco and Algeria, were uneducated, and came from impovrished families. I think the problem is that you fail to recognize the difference between the average Muslim and radical Muslims. That's understandable considering all you know about the Muslim population is the terrorist organizations. But remember, anywhere from 25% to a third of the world's population is Muslim. If the the majority were truly as radical as you seem to believe we would have a much larger problem than we do now. Have you ever met a Muslim person? I have met quite a few. They are good people.

First of all, Arab does not equal Muslim. Second of all, I know that this is sadly true in many European countries, because these Arabs came from counties such as Morrocco and Algeria, were uneducated, and came from impovrished families. I don't mean this in a racist way, but Arabs in Europe can be closely compared to the hispanics of the United States. In the US, its completely different. Most Arabs are well-educated professionals and have a high standing in society.

2. The actions of a few people cannot be used to blame an entire culture of people. Some Americans in the past were quite evil as well. Did you forget that their goal was to exterminate Native Americans ( America's natural residents) in an effort to settle the land? How about slavery? I think the problem is that you fail to recognize the difference between the average Muslim and radical Muslims. That's understandable considering all you know about the Muslim population is the terrorist organizations. But remember, anywhere from 25% to a third of the world's population is Muslim. If the the majority were truly as radical as you seem to believe we would have a much larger problem than we do now. Have you ever met a Muslim person? I have met quite a few. They are good people.

That is because when you have a relegion such as the muslims, you suppress any hopes for the people. My ultimate example of a great nation is America. If you had studied anything about history, you would know that this isnt true. I agree, the so-called Muslim countries are very behind in the world, but this is not because they follow Islam. If Arab leaders truly applied Islam, their countries would flourish. Instead they suppress their people and dont offer them religious and economic freedoms that they deserve. You may find this hard to believe, but Muslims can actually practice Islam more freely in the US than in many Arab countries.
