You mentioned it was wrong for your own bloodline. Hey Ridor.. more than an apology should be in the works, which also means, asking formally to stop any further damage by identifying them one by one and taking action. I would suggest, maybe by setting up an international comitee of deaf people.. the antagonists will carry on the rampage, the modern day horrors against deafness. They won't acknowlege and apologize for their actions! That would ensue a big battle, against us!! (the protagonists) our demands of what is right!

I won't be satisfied with just an APOLOGY.. I want alot more than that.. what happened continues still to this day, and its not a thing of the past, It is rampant and ongoing today.... Apology is given usually because it is a thing of the past.. in this case.. its not.. GET IT?? Deaf people don't have tunnel vision! We have no leverage! Am getting really pissed off!!

TheDeafwanderer...I think it is GREAT if Ridor duplicate your ideas about getting NAD involve to demand ICED to apologize Deaf community and all over the world. Ridor has many viewers, subscribers etc so why not use him too---to spread the message. If I have a vlog and Ridor, Aidan, Dr Don G, Joeybaer, etc etc want to duplicate my message...I would jump with joy! We need more people to spread messages. :-)

I am not impressed by him at all. Give credit where due, and then I don't mind. Methinks he's a fanatic attention seeker. Look at his other vlogs.

I clearly stated that I appreciate CAD's initiation to request the formal apology and I urge other countries' deaf associations to get involved with the process.

You should be grateful that more and more people are being supportive of CAD's initiation, you little ungrateful pup.

I think TheDeafwanderer's point is that u did not recognize his original work and advocacy in this area. Perhaps ur not aware of it and im not sure i know all of if but from what i think i understand is the Deafwanderer has initiated this call for an apology with Deaf folks from British Columbia cuz ICED conference will be there and just recently CAD sent out their own call for an apology in support so while u mentioned CAD u didn't mention TheDeafwanderer's community based efforts.

deafwanderer isnt known and upset at Ridor for talking about his ideas.. i tried to discuss his vblog but it was a dead room. so i came here. more people open to debate. if iced apologizes will bring lawsuits easy cause its an ongoing problem to this day. if a thing of past, it would be safe to issue an apology without recussions (sp). i doubt ICED will issue a formal apology. the audist oppressors would want to continue their evil mission and defend that it will open up a can of worms!

It looks as if you have not watched my vlogs. Your vlog seems to be a duplicate of my vlogs. We in Vancouver involved the CAD, and we, the local Deaf community, are in the middle of negotations with the ICED people. I intend to report the results of the negotiations in my channel as soon as my team is finished; it takes time. The CAD is waiting for us to make recommendations as to what it can do for us. The CAD has outstanding connections with the rest of the world. So...patience please.

True u have made some great vlogs about the call for an apology from ICED as well as the proposed resolutions for 2010 and working with CAD.  Folks if u want to see the vlogs - just click The Deafwanderer's name above and it will link u to the youtubes there for more info. Keep us posted on the negotiations. Since its an international issue, i dont think the call for a "call to apologize" from different nations will hurt. Look forward to the update.

No, "all rights reserved" is mainly about the artistic usage of my vlog. By putting "all rights reserved", it indicates that the vlog I run is my own and you are not allowed to duplicate, borrow or edit my vlogs *without* my permission.

Symbiotic apology can bring changes. I wholeheartedly agreed with you that ICED is the organization to begin with and send ripple across various organizations/agencies. I will do my part sending NAD a letter asking them to speak up.

I agree, Ridor. America has apologized to the Japanese for putting them in internment camps during WWII. The Vatican has apologized to the Jews for its complicit silence during the Holocaust. ICED can apologize for its actions of 1880.

One thing -- ICED is NOT "pro-ASL". At best, it is only "neutral" about ASL. There are still plenty of people who will be presenting there about CI, AVT, SEE, and other non-Deaf-centered educational approaches.

DrDonGC SUS, thanks for mentioning about ICED getting people centered about CI, AVT, SEE, and so on, which I despise the most.. how can we ask ICED for an apology if there are people with ICED who deviate and hurt the deaf more with their appraches in education etc? I am trying to see how an apology would work, because of these very people should get the hell out the way.. if not, then be prosecuted, fined or even banished from imposing harmful practices upon deaf people thru audism!
