I can't believe some losers here believe Serena lost to Henin in 2003 due to that hand-rising incident. That was just a POINT, which if I remember correctly Serena won to boot. The match went on and Henin beat her fair and square. Not to mention she repeatedly beat Serena over the years, in some cases in straight sets at GS, as in the 2007 RG and US Open, won by Henin. Serena might win gs, but she'll never be a great champion due precisely to her lack of class and "win at all costs" mentality.

I can't believe some losers here believe Serena lost to Henin in 2003 due to that hand-rising incident. That was just a POINT, which if I remember correctly Serena won to boot. The match went on and Henin beat her fair and square. Not to mention she repeatedly beat Serena over the years, in some cases in straight sets at GS, as in the 2007 RG and US Open, won by Henin. Serena might win gs, but she'll never be a great champion due precisely to her lack of class and "win at all costs" mentality.

True she did beat her in 3 out of 4 Grand slams in '07 but that was henin's best year, and she hasn't won many sporstmanship awards either. I think the Williams sisters are some of the best to ever play this game. I put Henin right up there with them from pure ability alone, not the number of titles. Serena proved how despicable she is in victory, yet Venus showed grace and class in defeat. At least one of them is finally GETTING IT!

Amazing that you could claim that Henin has class and good sportsmanship especially after she quit midway through a Grand Slam final with a tummyache and while she was down 6-1, 2-0 and getting destroyed by Amelie Mauresmo, who never got the chance to really celebrate her win thanks to that hidious Belgian troll..... I think you all are missing the point. This is not meant to be a racial statement and I apologize if it seemed that way. I am Hispanic, so i know WHAT that means. This is about sportsmanship and class...I get down on the sisters because I think they could be better than they are. Henin had a fabulous run in 06 and 07 and was headed towards legend status...but she retired so now we will never know. I know she is in the semis down-under, but this sport is not kind to comebacks...

SERENA IS A SORE LOSER: she was being outplayed by Kim Clijsters on september 12-09 at the U.S. Open semis and was down 2 match points, she then cursed a line judge, she was fined a points and was automatically defaulted because she had 2 match points against her anyway...SORE LOSER SERENA, don't be mad cause you ain't attractive like a Halle Berry for example.

Serena Williams on the other hand has taken a LOT of questionable injury time outs and bathroom breaks over her career, usually when she's losing, you also don't see Justine screaming when she hits a ball at net like SErena, Serena does it to throw the opponent off the shot, that is cheating

Justine is another sore loser. She was being outplayed in the 2006 australian open finals by Amelie Mauresmo and she defaulted because of an upset stomach. Maybe she had an upset stomach cause Mauresmo was leading 6-1,4-1 and only 2 games away from victory. well Mauresmo won the tile and then gave Justine another lesson that same year and beat Henin in the finals at wimbledon. what goes around comes around, good for you Mauresmo

But i am not surprised she would do that. Serena technically calls everyone a bitch whenever she hits the ball. Her annoying lion roars is like saying to her opponents "go to hell, bitch". But this time, roaring was not enough for her, she had to verbally abuse Henin as she couldn't find a way to beat her.
Henin however, used her intelligent tennis skills to shut the real bitch up

When she lost, she never gave credits to her opponents instead, she blamed her defeat for fatique or illnesses. Do you remember her wimby 2007 interview after she lost to henin? She was so self-aborbed and arrogant. She refused to give Henin credits. I was glad that Michael Stitch called her out. She just couldn't stand there's someone better than her.
