  • Now that you have your giant flat cupcakes, you should bring bake this giant cupcake too. There are so many people into anything cupcake right now, and what a really cool gift idea. I don't maybe its just me, but I would love to see more of these.

What say you other Ariel's Secret Garden addicts, uh I mean customers =)

  • @Oreocremerocks thank you, I was thinkin aboiut doing that, just don't know if there would be a demand or not!=]

  • is the stuff you use on top on the cupcakes good for you. the sparkles and glitter? can you tell me that?

  • The glitter is just for looks, it is a soap safe glitter not regular glitter!

  • There's no reason why CP wouldn't hold up in those molds.

    They look great sherri!

  • Why thank you ashleyandlee, and your soapies are beautiful and your such a sweet heart. I just saw the video of the gifts you sent to Nancy Today, you sure made her day. Thank you again!!! =]]

  • They're so freaking cute! I love the giant cupcake....hahaha

  • Thank you Devilskitten, I still have to try and cut the bottom of the cupcake to make it look more real. I think I will cut it in with a knife.

  • omg CUUUUUUTE!!!

  • Thanks Miss Sprinkles =]]]!

  • LOVE THEM!!! Where did you get those flower looking molds and what are you doing to make those little hearts? Just awesome!

  • Thank you loriadkins, Michaels craft store is where I get those molds and I use a cookie cutter to punch out the hearts(also from Michaels).I used scrap pieces of soap from cutting off the ugly sides of the finished batch.

  • Surely theyre not CP? It wouldnt hold its shape while in the gel phase?

    They look very pretty :)

  • Thank you AussieMummySince07, but yes it is Cold Process soap =]. =] =/ =0 =)

  • Do you pipe the top? How does it stay in place? Id have thought that while in the gel phase it might go flat?

  • How long have you been soaping? =]]]

  • Over a year now.

Sorry- are you avoiding my question because you can just say you dont want to say...?

  • the bottom is set seperately...the icing is piped at thick trace and allowed to cool....not insulated...no gel. soap doesn't have to go to gel stage everytime.....

  • Thats exactly how i imagined it. Yeah, i know they dont need to gel everytime but i do with mine :)

  • you could also rebatch and pipe the'icicng'

  • Rebatch is something i have not yet tried... Although i do have a batch with raspberry seeds which my man tested and the seeds are quite sharp so im still thinking about what to do with them all...

  • Your soaps keep getting prettier! I really like the huge soap in the middle. It would certainly look cool on your next stall, maybe have it as a centre piece? It would turns heads for sure :-) you could auction it off some day when your business is mega huge. You've definitely got the style right.
