Why push legislation to allow drilling off the coast of California? You know it's evil. And If the bill doesn't pass, funding for these items in the bill won't pass: 1) Research and development of new energy sources. 2) Manufacture of midsized sedan automobiles that get 100 miles per gallon. 3) Manufacture of advanced batteries. Since you know the bill wont pass, why include these three items? Nice way to stop new technologies from becoming available. Nice way to represent the people Radanovich

You voted for the stimilus package which just was printing 160 billion which we don't have. Pushing the dollar even lower.

George the problem is NOT high gas prices, it is the LOW dollar which causes high price in a global market! If we were buying oil in 2003 dollars oil would be $75 a barrel not $125. Where have the REAL republicans gone?
