  • @raiuzumaki Yer I had same problem but all of my units were their normal cost eg. marauders were like over 100 minerals and so was the ghost. my problem now is that my editor keeps crashing as soon as i try to change the upgrades part..... help please anyone.

  • i made my map zerginvasion uber hard :) but i have an isue with upgrades i cant get it onto my units comand card for some reason anyone help in this matter

  • someone pointed this out earlier for those having invincible zergling (or whatever you called them) its a conflict with the computer's handicap script, remove the handicap action (the one that increase zerg health based on # of players) and it'll return to normal, enemy units will still have increasing health per wave

  • I have a problem with the unit cost, instead of changing the Marine cost to 5 like I want. It simply ADDS 5 more minerals onto the 50 making it 55. Any idea whats wrong?

  • @TwistedBeare Cost is now done through the unit... ignore any costs in any abilities (or set them to 0).

  • Wow. I love the amount of detail you go into with these tutorials! Before this my maps consisted of only zerg units on suicide mode. The score system, boss bar, waves, and other triggers are really helpful, and make maps look a lot more professional.

  • Hey man, I really appreciate your tutorial it's awesome! I'm just having a few issues, when they kill a zerg unit I get a blue +1 and a red +1, why is that? Shouldn't I only get a red plus one because I'm red and it's single player. Thanks

  • @DigitalDailyStore hmm... hard to say from what youve told me... try PMing me with more info.

  • @OneTwoSC its actually the script showing the amount of minerals gained per kill (for instance if a zegling gives 5 mineral to a killing player and +1 to points it will show the red +1 and a cyan +2) dunno if you debugged that with him, but wanted to point it out

    Everything usually works even though i have the retail editor except that my leaderboards never work...

  • @TheTurtlebox Just your luck, a new tutorial will be out soon showing how to do proper leaderboards

  • @TheTurtlebox I think the problem in the tut was it assigned things to the leaderboard based on who was an ally of player 1, but it hadnt yet set up those alliances.

  • Disregarud my last question on the other video, I loved your tut, thanks so muched helped me A LOT. The leader boards confuse me, and I've simply took them out of my map.

  • @bombhell I think I'll do a proper leaderboard tutorial soon... all my current ones in here and tower D's suck atm.

  • Very nice tutorial, helped me a lot, especially for the data editor!

    Maybe you could make another tutorial, where you explain the data editor more in depth and maybe how to make a building from scratch, which can train units or do other stuff.

  • @ChRiSiMoN I plan on doing that, but first probably actors... actors are SO simple once you know them... but so confusing if you don't.

  • Woot man thanks !! i try actually to build up a Micro map... and i need to spawn unit and when both die its like 1-0 after other units will spawn well thanks u help me with this tutorial !!

  • Next instead of the tower defence, and "survive" games, make a 3rd person shooter with upgradeable characters and all that.. You did an awesome job, but there are already many survival games out in beta now.

    Needs some balancing, and I made a little bit different map.. but other than that, this tutorial is just AWESOME!

    I really hope to see more from you man. Wathing your "pretty up terrain", and "tower defence" tuts as well now. Great job man, and I'll prob struggle with the trigger editor, but you gace us a DAMN nice start there! :D

  • nvm i make the player 2 be the base and the player 5 to be the guy with the suply depot / barrack and it worked :)

  • Umm i got a pretty great error... the ZERGLET don't attack my Base and i got no inerals at the start.... can u link me the order of the trigger list in the init trger.... the last tim it was that the error for me...

  • @TheDunlace make sure your base doesn't have the flag invulnerable... make sure you order your zerglets after spawning... and I set starting minerals in part 1. But really, you can figure this out: In the init trigger, you just do a "pick each player in all players" action and then inside it, you put "player - set property" and then make it for picked player and set minerals to 25. FYI 2:02 shows the init trigger in this video.

  • @OneTwoSC my minerals work... and my zerglet don't attack the base .... i am completely lost cuz it isn't invulnerable and my order to attack is the same as u
