If I only had $15-30 to spend, what lures or soft baits would you guys suggest for purchase? I'm going for mostly bass and panfish. Anything that can catch multiple species actually. Any help?
I typically use live bait. If you are going after just pan fish I recommend using wax worms. Red wigglers are also good for panfish. If after crappie you can get 3 dozen minnows for 10 bucks.
I typically do not scale or skin the fish until I am going to eat them. I will let them soak in ice water for a period of time and when ready to store I will put them in a deep freeze. Gallon freezer bags work well with bluegill. You can get over sized pots for catfish. Cleaning and then freezing isn't good in my opinion.

You have bluegills from last week? How long do you keep them before you clean them?
