Also, I must add that since I posted that comment I've seen "The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard" and he stole that movie, even though he was only in it for about 2 minutes, but I didn't laugh nearly as hard that whole movie as I did in those 2 minutes. :D I'll check out those movies, and give him a chance.

How do you not include Kevin Bacon? He's given great performance after great performance and hasn't once been nominated for an acting Oscar. C'mon! Mystic River? Apollo 13? Frost/Nixon? Kevin Bacon is consistently fantastic and it's a shame that he's never recognized for it. Another one is a more recent actor: Tom Hardy. He really needs more roles because he's got a huge range and always transforms into his role. One of the best upcoming actors IMO.

I would have added Alan Rickman (Great as Hans Gruber, AMAZING as Severus Snape), Gary Oldman (Over the top, but in a good way, and that's kind of a rare thing among actors), and Jeremy Irons (Aside from the Oscar he won for Reversal of Fortune, most people just know him as the voice of Scar in The Lion King, and that's kinda sad, since he's done far more outstanding work in other movies) to the list.

Glad to see Simmons, Olyphant, and Fichtner on the list. But they should have been higher IMO.

That's a very solid list. Unsurprisingly, it took an outside to the regular show to provide that. Bruce Willis is also very good in Unbreakable. I don't know if Javier Bardem qualifies as underrated, but he's a very good actor that doesn't receive many roles -- or perhaps he's holding out for the good ones.
