Nippy sounds like a pure angel when she ain't smoking them Newports, and her voice ain't raspy. I will say this about Taralyn she the baddest young singer out for sure. She could outsing Hudson, Charice, Christina, Kelly, and all them heffas with ease. I would even say she could outsing Kelly Price, Debroah Cox, and Tamia too eventhough Tamia has a very beautiful voice.

I grew up in Newark,NJ and remember Ms Houston before the record company and the world got a hold of her.Whitney was just as skilled as the young lady and clear as the human voice can be.Go listen to Whitney sing A QUIET PLACE. This young lady Tarralyn is simply wonderful,but don't try to take anything away from Whitney because in her prime she could take you to church and anywhere else you wanted to go. Whitney's range was off da hook i was there in the early days at New Hope Baptist Church.

Its amazing to have such good talent but we have to be wise in how we use what God gives us, because the gifts come without repentance, but its the anointing that can and will destroy yokes. Where is the "sin" in singing other types of music? The genre should NOT matter, the MeSsAge SHOULD! I don't agree with everything that is said in other genres of music, but I believe that music is a reflection of what the song writer/singer has gone through in LIFE. If we were ALL HONEST about our lives, the TRUTH would be that MOST of us have had our hearts broken, have been cheated on, and/or have had to face LIFE situations that most "gospel songs" don't cover.
