Heck yes! Chicago is a great place. Although I don't live deep into the city anymore (I now live in the south suburbs), I still try to get around there all the time. I'm always taking the Metra and jumping on a Pace or CTA transit line with my friends. Great place to grow up. I'm out there practically every day during the summer, and I just got back right now from ice skating in Millennium Park, lol.
When you get the chance, switch over to Booker T & The MGs. You'll find Steve Cropper and Donald "Duck" Dunn also played for Booker T. They're both in "Green Onions" and "Time is Tight". Steve narrates one of the vids, although I forget which one.
This is my favorite clip in this greatest musical movie in history.. I see this whenever I am depressed from a DVD and it always makes me have a smile.. A masterpiece..
I think they're working on Serious/Underground projects instead of Dirtying their hands on Stuff like High School Musical... Oh well can't blame them really.
brilliant tune, brilliant film. rip John belushi, Dan aykroyd is a legend! if people really did that in the street when ever people played music, there'd be less War, lol!
"It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses."
yea it took me a while to remember he shot 2 time like 2 inches from his hands and said "breaks my heart to see em go bad so young" that part was funny as anything
How sad, that Ray, the soul of this hole number couldn't see that crazy carneval on the street. Anyway, I think this video inspired Morcheeba's Rome Wasn't Built in a Day...
The choreography is amazing and the song is like one of those totally awesome songs that people love for like, their whole lives! It's such an awesome song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
does anyone know where i can get this song in about 5 hours for a school concert. we have the wrong version. i need this one. any help would be apperiated.....PLEASE HELP
do the twist... do the fly... do the swim... and do the bird... best movie ever! _______________ "shit!" "what?" "rollers!" "no." "yeah!" "shit!" if you guys ever have the possibility to watch the making of (guess it's on all the dvd features nowadays) do it! really interesting!
was the stax records bass player up untill the 70's with very few exceptions any stax recording (untill the 70's) this is the guy playing bass on it all.
Every time I hear any music from a Blues Brothers movie I have to get up and dance. That is all there is to it! Can't stop from feeling good when you here them! And, Ray Charles- what a man! Thank you for posting this. I love it!
