  • When I'm not crocheting, I am designing web sites and doing kickboxing.

I absolutely love your tutorials! They are always such a help.

  • When I'm not crocheting, I'm chasing around my 4 kiddos: Bradley (4), Molly (2.5), Lily (18 months), and Karly (3 months). I am also going to school for nursing! :) What do you do in your free time? How long would it take you to make this hat if you weren't recording? When I want to make the hat smaller, if I take out one of the increasing rounds how much smaller will the hat be (I'm using the toddler darling hat pattern and would like to make the hat fit sizes 0-3 months.

  • hi u r very good and these are very help ful

  • I am doing this hat and for some reason I ended up with 20 shells per shell round. LOL! Oh well. It's making its way into a hat so I will just go with it. And my slip stitches are right into the chain 1 space. I didn't realize that you chain stitched over a few times. Again, it's working so I guess I won't mess with it. It's turning out very cute! Going to put the slinky flower on the outside when I'm finished! I absolutely LOVE your tutorials. My friend taught my the basic stitches and then wa

  • Hi. Could you go extra slow, zoom in, and make it really clear which stitch you're going into for the first stitch of every new round? Thanks. Otherwise, the speed and everything else in the video is great. I'll comment again if it worked out fine for me! THANKS :]

  • Thank you so much for your tutorials! Before your vids, I couldn't even hold the crochet, and in 4 weeks I've learned to make hats, scarfs and laces! And my favorite, the puff stitch hat, I've made tons of them for my girlfriends and they were so excited! Thank you so much for giving me the most amusing hobby ever!

  • I love you're crochet videos, I have been an oscillating crocheter for some time, always finding that I lack the patience to read through pattern after pattern and usually stopping a project to start a new one that perks my interest more. Your videos help me to stay on track and visually understand what I'm supposed to do so I can actually finish projects.

  • Thank you I love this hat! Do you know how I would adjust the pattern for a child?

  • @flynn1114 I do have a child size pattern posted. If you wanted to use this one, the easiest way to make it smaller is to use a smaller crochet hook. If that is not enough, you can work less increase stitches and rounds.

  • Excuse me, I want crochet a hat for my grandmother, what kind of hat would you recommend? Whenever it is cold she get headache, so I was not sure what hat would fit her. Please reply ASAP. Thank you.

  • Hi Teresa! Thank you for all your video tutorials, I am a beginner and I have learned tons from them!

I have a question, actually two. Do you have a pattern for a matching scarf using this stitch?

Second, can I use Red Heart's Super Saver instead of Fiesta? I cannot find Fiesta around here.

    thank you, God bless you,

    Elaine

  • @elainebitt Yes, you can use almost any type of yarn you have available. I don't believe that I have a scarf with this stitch but I can keep it in mind.

  • @tjw1963 thank you Teresa!

  • Hi Teresa! What, in your opinion, is the most difficult or frustrating kind of stitch you've encountered so far?

  • @SurreptitiouSurprise I would say the bullion stitch was the most challenging.

  • This video is really nice to watch with pot.

  • Thanks. I made a hat, I gave up on the complex stitches past the first row for the sides and went back to a normal stitch. it turned out and it covers my head! I looked at tons of videos and yours was the only one that helped. some of the other ones actually sped up the close up shots of the work. made it impossible to follow...

Gracias!!!

  • Hi Teresa! I just started making this cap and I am on increase round #4 Its a round of 36 with 1 sc and then 2 sc in the next loop.
