I find the interior in these very very cheap, boring and ugly compared to the TT, I've seen VWs with better looking interiors. I'm sorry, but I'm not impressed at all! The exterior also needs to be updated (Acception 1M) I love BMW but this car kinda sucks. I would rather have a 3 series or TT.

BMW has been making the 1-series for a loooooooooooooong time. Since 2004 or 03 i believe. And why do you have no respect for the PERSON who bought this car. First of all, you don't know it's a woman, and not everyone can drive a manual. People have different skill sets. Maybe the person lives in a heavily populated area, and therefore the automatic may be more convenient.

@talldude123 The 1 series is the entry level BMW. I don't know about Canada but they sell pretty well in the US. The 1 Series M is the performance version of this car.
