Si Keith se siente happy pues habrá que probar las pócimas que usaba para encontrar esa felicidad. Yo con cerveza y buena música doy con ella, incluso sin cerveza solo a base de música(es mi droga favorita).
Keith Richards at his ABSOLUTE best.....there's an awesome book on the recording of this album and their stay at Villa Nellcote.....the book is "Exile on main street; a season in hell with the rolling stones"...absolute crazyness....Herion, coke, Jagger banging Keith's wife Anita Pallenberg in the house (Nellcote) they were all sharing during the recording....just a really awesome book.....and I have no association with it lol I promise
Yeah... Keith accidentally wiped Mick's vocals during a mixing session... I think Mick was in the UK for (another) drugs charge or something. As the tapes were due to the recording company before Mick got back, Keith sung them!
Well i Shall Be Bringing all the Mick Taylor recordings Basically, which included Bootlegs of the 72-73 Tours when they really were "The Greatest Rock Band on Earth" I consider "Goats Head Soup" to be vastly underrated aswell.
I also have read Mick's comment about Exile. I suspect he is saying this as he knows this was the pinnacle of the band, and everything thereafter wasn't as good. All artists try to diminish their masterpieces as they overshadow their other work.
They said the "bass is louder, but that's alright", the "voices come through clear", and "It's a great mono mix", meaning they weren't listening to it in stereo.
The Rolling Stones, 1968-75, were unsurpassable. Keith couldn't have been THAT far gone, because he created so much brilliant music that connected with the soul and the emotions. The guy knew exactly what he was doing. AreWeTooStraight is the maestro of Stones clips, a veritable genius of the YouTube media. He, too, will go down in history alongside Keefy and Mick. And if he don't, I'll be fuckin' wantin' to know why!!!
I am pretty sure this clip was taken from Robert Frank's never-released documentary "C*cksucker Blues." It has been extensively bootlegged, note the extremely poor film quality. They are listening to a test pressing of the "Happy" single on an acetate, not the "Exile" vinyl LP.
Holy Jesus! Could any band of evolved primates create sounds that grab your head and heart like the freaky-good Rolling Stones? I'll be long dead before anyone comes close to their power, genius, and influence. We have been truly blessed with their music.

I think Keith sang this song because he wrote most of it. It's a "Keef" song like You Got the Silver from Let it Bleed.

I think Brian Jones/Mick Taylor were the glue that made the Stones great. Just like George was the glue that made the Beatles great.

Why is Mick stealing Keith's thunder? MY God can't he STFU?
todieandwither 3 years ago
He's not stealing his thunder. Mick originally sang lead on this. Later Keith did and continues to do so.
