  • my absolute favorite stick. mmmmm good good good.

  • Hey Brian how does this stick compare to the Fuente Fuente Opus X Robusto you reviewed here?

  • Mmmmmmmmm that looks delicious...

  • I enjoyed my first of these last night, and will absolutely be investing in some more. I've been smoking for less than a year, and usually don't pick up on "All" the flavors, but picked up on quite a few with this stick. The oak, and sweet tobacco I picked up right away, and the pepper zing was all down the back of the throat. The best stick I've smoked so far!

  • I tried one of these last night and I was simply blown away. This cigar is smooth and full of rich flavors, produced large amounts of smoke and required no corrections. For me, this is one of the best cigars I've ever smoked in terms of the overall combination of characteristics I like in a cigar. Flavor profile was amazing, so much flavor and yet the flavors are so cleanly intermixed. Great review.

  • I've been sitting on one of these for almost four years! Well, actually its been aging in my humidor for almost four years. I can't wait to try it!

  • I have one somewhere...

  • Great reviews ... Padron is certainly one of my favorite cigars, especially the 1964 Anniversary series. P.S. I visited your website to see if you had reviewed the Casa Magna Colorado Robusto but didn't see it. Have you tried one or plan on trying one?

    Thanks!

  • Bryan, excellent review! i really enjoy watching these. I had my first two Padron's today with Jorge Padron himself. The family reserve 45th is one serious cigar. These sticks have so much flavor and kick, better than any Bolivar I have smoked.

  • The 26 is certainly full strength while the 64 is medium-full

  • was there any strength kick to this one? ive heard the 26 and most of the other of the anniversary lines in padrons are powerful and im trying to ease into medium-full sticks as im like u and dont care to have my ass handed to me by a cigar. just wondering.

  • I had a Padron '64 in the "Principe" size this morning with my coffee. VERY complex smoke. The draw and texture was unbelievably amazing. The construction was superb. But i was very surprised with the flavor. It is by far the most superior in taste. Lots of dark hints from earthy and oak, to lighter hits like coco and a smooth "buttery" taste like you said. I've tried them all, from Acid to Zino and this cigar is the king of them all

  • You have some very in-depth reviews. Nicely done.

  • Wow check out the acceleration of darkness from start to finish of the video.

  • Im somking one right now and its absolutely superb

  • I am a relative newbie to cigars and have been trying different samplers, etc., to get a sense of what I like. Your video reviews are very informative!

  • I didnt know how good a cigar could be until I bought a '64 imperial. Just an amazing smoke. I had been smoking cigars for a time and had just been too cheap up to that point to try any padron anniversary lines. I must say they are worth it and its what I compare all medium/full cigars to. This guys review of the '26 80th anny is also very informative, and ats times hilarious as the strength of the cigar sneaks up on him. Never had an 80th anny and not sure i"m ready for the cost and kick yet.

  • Thank you! I prefer the natural wrappers and liked the corona better.

  • Bryan: I'm a big fan of your page. Great job of accurately describing the intricacies.

I've been hooked on the 64 since my first Diplomatico, and now it's one of my all time favorites. However, I've never bought any other size/shape and was recently thinking about the torpedo's for time considerations.

I 've also seen your review of the Carona.

My Q: Which 64 did you prefer, the corona or the torpedo?

    Thanks, for another great review.

  • Sometimes. But you can only go so far down.

  • if you ever gor a tight draw wit torpedo just give it little more cut and it will work.

  • Any maker can put out sticks here and there with tight draws, especially torpedos. It certainly does not mean they are 'fake' by any means.

  • this is an amazing cigar with a beautiful draw. any anniversaries with a tight draw are most likely fakes?

  • Padron's are great when they have more of an open draw which is 99% of the time. I had a torpedo that had kind of a tight draw and I couldn't get dense, creamy smoke like I usually get from padron anni's. Still was good though.
