my parents split up when i was leaving high school. Plus they already together spent aout £3,000 on my current setup back in 2002(korg triton studio, sl-88, roland kc-500amp, full flight cases). I love the sound you get from sitting playing real pianos and dream of one day owning a grand or even just an upright.
At the music shop where I teach the owner has just got in the roland hp-207 digital piano and was harping on about it for weeks saying the touch was amazing and the sound was the best he had heard.....as soon as i played the first chord i hated everything about it. I actually recommended him to go for yamaha instead but none of these 2 match up with a real steinway
Thanks man. I only signed up a couple of weeks ago so its nice to get some feedback finally. OUt of curiosity how realistic does the piano sound compared to other pianos? I have been toying with the idea of a new satage piano for a while. Kyle556 plays a yamaha p-120 and I think thats sweet
My sound is just a sound on the korg triton called acoustic piano. I use the sequencer part through mido and you can select setups for certain genres whiccd adds effects too like reverb etc. I still dont think it sounds like the real thing though. the sl-88 controller feels good though
still too slow :P

for a moderate beginner with a bit of expirience what difficulty would you rate this

@xam154
I'd say this piece is about grade 5? maybe less. For an experienced pianist its quite easy

I'm not a pro but your piano sounds quite good. But you're right kyle's piano sounds more realistic
