Obama is the one committing treason. He is supposed to follow the constitution, yet he has *not* shown his birth certificiate to show that he is qualified for the office of president! It is a simple request, Mr. Obama. If you have nothing to hide, show the real birth certificate - not a secondary document that the state of Hawaii doesn't even accept as proof of *place* of birth - meaning the cert. of live birth. This is a matter of constitutional law! Why ridicule the questioners?! Just show it.

You DO know that individual birth certificates are sealed - unless the individual releases it. You DO know that this cert. of live birth we are talking about only says a person is alive. U can look at Obama and know that! What such a cert. does not say is *where* that person was born! You DO know that the State of Hawaii does not count cert. of live birth as proof of citizenship, even for their own state benefits! Even when they issued the secondary certificate, they want the real deal. So do I.

How dare Sen. Grassley not speak favorably about giving more and more power to the State! The State is all-powerful! The State is all-knowing! Our "Dear Leader" is benevolent! It doesn't matter that they are going to steal all your money to pay for what they think is "compassionate." They mean well! And darn it, they're the GOVERNMENT! Who does Sen. Grassley think he is?! @brandthill - FYI: The First Amendment does not protect lies. When, from a position of power, Grassley lied to the very people he is supposed to represent, he betrayed them, which is the very definition of treason. The sad thing is, politicians commit this sort of treason every day, especially the Republicans these days. Oh, and then there's a commandment which goes "Thou shalt not bear false witness" to consider here, too.
