cant believe i payed for this piece of crap. been trying to get in contact with numark & native instruments for ages (3 years now). no replies what so ever. ive tried emailing them, calling them even trying to contact them through youtube. but the ignorant cunts don't reply. never EVER going to buy from either of them again. @gar0u73 doesn't mean you should get one though but im probably a bit late ...sound card pice of crap, programme pice of crap freezes all the time. omni control good design lasts a day or two.....over all.... don't waste your money

Gar0u, thats wrong, the Omni has its own soundcard, with 2 sets of RCA outputs, using traktor, y ou need to output the cue mix to output 2 which is the headphones, no additional soundcard is needed.

hey i just bought an omni control i have some speakers plugged into my laptop, usb into the deck and my numark headphones into the headphone jack. I can't hear anything out of teh headphones though, i thought it had a soundcard built in??

Any ideas?

what software are you using? If you are using Traktor, you need to setup the audio output to use the Omni soundcard otherwise you are not feeding anything into it.

if you can u should upgrade to traktor pro, its a lot better than 3LE, more options for looping and effects and has 4 decks.

also you need to go to the audio setup and set output 2 to the cuemix which is the headphones. If you are using the speakers from your laptop then you are using the built in soundcard from your laptop which won't work, you have to use the soundcard in the Omni because traktor can only use 1 soundcard at a time.

I've just gotten the Omni Control but i have a problem with it....How do you get the incoming track (the track being cued) into the headphones only...i get the out going track through the speakers and headphones at same time which is no good...is my set up wrong ?? Please help me!! Thenx=D

If your using Traktor (Pro/LE) you need to go into Audio Preferences from the File menu and set the Output Routing settings to go to where you want it, I.E. The Monitor to the headphones and the main mix to the main RCA out of your Omni Controller.

I know its not vinly but you don't have to worry about the pitch failing like you do on cheap turn tables.

I don't think traktor sucks, but I don't personally like the interface, so it sucks for me. Apparently others like it, and that's fine. If you are one of those idiots who has picked out a favorite software, and thinks now that you have become the almighty judge over all that is good, and have proclaimed all else that you don't use to be bad, then you should stay in the bedroom, and the rest of the world will hope you don't come out.

I agree, i personally like traktors interface more but its more about how you use it rather than what you use
