@WildWestSamurai First of all, I agree the law was immoral. But it is debatable about whether or not it was unconstitutional. Secondly, while everyone in the mob may have not been a Klan member, the riot in Anniston just like the one in Birmingham was organized and planned by the Klan ahead of time and many of those in the mob had driven from as far away as Tennessee to participate. Thirdly, the KKK is highly secretive. Most of the good people in Anniston didn't een find out about it till after.
America was a FAR better country back then. You didn't have niggers wearing their pants below their butt and rapping like a bunch of jungle bunnies. Those kids were sent South for one reason by those dirty CORE cowards - to get their heads busted on camera. If they hadn't been breaking the law, none of this had happened. Furthermore, the actions of that Klan mob in no way represented the will of the white people of Anniston in 1960.
@Sistarovat How do you know the whole mob was affiliated with the Klan? Racist white people who didn't agree with the Klan's tactics or ridiculous costumes did exist, you know.
Even if the whole mob was Klan-affiliated, that means the "good" white police of Anniston did nothing. The "good" white people of Anniston did nothing. While a bus full of human beings was set on fire, and this mob tried shutting them all inside. And for what? For breaking an unconstitutional and immoral law.
as a new generation child, 15 years old, i wish i was alive to live and see with my own eyes these people at there finest, and now sadly my generation has brought us back and using the same word that stained our culture as a form of slang, as one of the new generation and one with a very old soul, id like to say i am proud to be bi-racial and i am proud of what my elders have done for me, and when im older may i be able to return the same, a son, and a future army dog, id like to say thank you.
Racism still exisits in the souls of peoples fears, it goes both ways, it is prevailent still we see its results on the new frontier of it at its worst in Afghnistan; its simply a race war for control of a dying way of the past. Unfortunately people still cling to old ways and are so fearfull. Fearfull from slaves being freed to now reverse discrimination all these things exist. To get a long is a learning process. the past is pain, the present is pain the future is hope for peace.
and look what's happened since these negro's have been given equal rights? The crime rate has tripled. The NAACP has interfered repeatedly with the media, justice system and even going so far as to threwaten boycott if black on white crime is reported in the media,as in 2007 during the christian/newsom rape, torture murders. They have a leadership who have violent criminal records and they consider the zebra murders in 1974 to be a badge of honor. They should all be re-enslaved or exterminated.
@JBrewer4386 so you deny justice department stats on who commits crime?Or do you deny that the NAACP in 2007 was caught trying to cover up the fact that 5 of its members butchered 2 whites for fun?Or that the excuse the NAACP gave was because they didnt want to be targeted even though they have no problems calling for riots when 1 of their kind is convicted of a crime?Do your homework,I have and this is what I found. The truth is the truth, nothing more, nothing less.
@ranchai100 I don't even like the NAACP , and im black. You're comment came off as racist, you were pretty much implying that black people don't deserve equal rights. You sad racist idiot.
@sh8896a I see,so FBI and Justice department stats must be ignorant to as they show that niggers in general commit the majority of violent crime.Just as these so called freedom riders did.I would love to see their rap sheets from back then, dollars to donuts it will show the nigger penchant for rape,murder.etc.
@ranchai100 Your language alone says that you are unable to have an intelligent conversation, because your mind is clouded with hatred. So please do the world and favor and jump...
@PoliticalAbstract Things never really change? Change from what? What exactly do you expect to 'change'?

It really is. That is just another example of treating an entire race of people by the actions of a few.
