@TheCombatTramp Yeah, just right click on he clip while it is in the timeline, and i think it is called unlink or ungroup or something along those lines.
Hi, for some reason my video after importing it has no audio, I have a cannon hg20 and my setting is DVCPROHD1080i50, i have premiere pro cs5, can you or anyone please help?? thanks
@xbigatr4inx Right after you watch one on how not to get butt hurt when people call you out on blatant fails. Seriously, post a tutorial about production techniques and then have blow audio that makes it almost impossible to focus on what you're trying to say...go ahead and QQ...I've got my violin ready!
@GG4S3xTo Alright sir. I didn't know that you were part of SOPA trying to prevent my rights to post on the internet. Whether you liked the video or not, it doesnt matter. This video is free for anyone to watch or to not watch .Take your pick - It is not my choice.
Read the kcufing title before you shoot for criticisms. "Basics Tutorial" = Just that. A video outlining the basics of how the program works.
---
Safe to say then, that this video is for ABSOLUTE KNOW NOTHINGs (myself included (at this point in time)). Don't hate on the man for making a video using techniques/steps that aren't on par with yours.
I am just starting in Premiere but I come from Vegas pro for over 5 years. I like your attempt at making a tutorial, but i see a lot of misleading bad habits. If your source video is 4:9 why did you make the project in 16:9 stretching the video destroys quality. Also informing your "class" that "this doesnt matter" is a lack of knowledge in the program. I admire your efforts, but I need to watch someone who will tell me correctly, on a near professional level.
@Foxerz Thank you for your constructive criticism. I do not suggest stretching videos, but all call of duty videos are recorded in 16:9, but my recorder only recorded in 4:3, so yeah, that is why i did that. I made this tutorial over a year ago, and I was definately not as comfortable with the program as I am now. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to remake these tutorials. My appologies.
@empiremonkey Just because I don't have a blue snowball mic doesn't mean that I don't have the right to make a tutorial to help people who want to understand a program. By the way, I was not doing a tutorial about how to record sound or anything like that, so you sir, can keep your rude comments to yourself. Some people are actually appreciative of those trying to help.
@xbigatr4inx I agree with the monkey. At least check your settings beforehand and make sure you'll be heard. And his comment wasn't rude, he's just pissed and you know he's justified.
@empiremonkey The audio isn't the only thing that is utterly horrible. How about the "script"? Or was this the charming "stumble on every word" style?
@xbigatr4inx You understand the program? Which program? Your twat? Because if you're talking about Premiere, you aren't even fit to sniff my shorts...and I know you want to.
Tell me, since you know/understand the program, do you know how to move a clip without keyboard shortcuts and without dragging?
@SenorCajones Well I find it somewhat interesting that you are watching a "Adobe Premiere - Basics Tutorial (Part 1)" if you are a "Pro". How about you get a life and quit complaining. There are 8 likes and 1 dislike, so it looks like you're the bad apple here. GTF off my channel. Thank You.
@shbakaien25 Great question. Right click on the clip (while its in your timeline) and click ungroup. Then deselect the clip. Then click on either the audio or video (depending on which one you wish to delete) and press backspace or delete. If you have any more questions, just ask.
@punk4rox Hey, thanks for watching my video. Ok to reset all the panels go to the tab on the top that says "window", then press "workspace" and then "Reset current workspace". tell me if that solves your problem. Feel free to ask other questions. Also subscribe if you want. hope this helps.
Quick question, can you separatly delete audio and video, say I wanted the video clip but not not the audio could I do that? Cheers.

You are clipping your mic, turn down the gain, then boost it back up in your audio software

How can you justify making a tutorial film for others about filmmaking, when the audio is so utterly horrible?

@SenorCajones hmm, well does that really matter to me? No, because unlike you, I understand the program. Therefore, gfu.
