  • 2 PEOPLE GOT THEIR HOUSE BURNED

  • What's the piano piece in the background called?

  • It's beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing it. :-}

  • I think Anne would have loved this =) great job!

  • I loved the simplicity of the animation. Puritans were real live people who had normal feelings and emotions. Anne Bradstreet shows how her deep faith and trust in God proved stronger than her attachment to temporal possessions. The beauty of the poem lies in the way she expresses these emotions whilst rising above them so she can continue her life in contentment despite her changed circumstances. I think the animations are wonderfully matched to these feelings.

  • A beautiful, modern rendition of an old classic. Very touching. As KittyEvangeline stated, it may not convey the sentiments of the original completely in terms of accepting God's will with grace & gratitude, but it does introduce a moving work to a new generation. Hopefully your version will inspire new readers to explore the sentiments more fully. Well done.

  • Wow! This is fantastic! I found this while I was going over the poem to review for my midterm- and this just really brought it to life! Everything- from your animation to your reading to the music was incredible :-)

  • good job presenting, my English teacher showed tis to our class about the poem

  • good job presenting

  • Uhhh, actually you completely misunderstood the point of this poem. You made this look all dramatic, and emotional, but the author of this poem was a puritan. Puritans did not make their poems/songs/dances emotional or dramatic because it was against their beliefs. I mean its good, but it does not convey the same message as the original author tried to convey.

  • is it you that is reading the poem?

  • i cry

  • As I've said elsewhere, universal literacy was valued by Puritans and Pilgrims - hence we have a beautiful poem by a woman 350 yrs ago. Also, as we experience losses from the economic meltdown, we can take strength and hope from Anne's faith and values. These are the people, faith, and culture America has wandered from - to our hurt. It's time to re-examine these incredible people.

  • Wow, that was really amazing! Did you do that all yourself? It was beautiful!

  • "BEAUTIFUL POEM & ART!"

  • It looks as though you have much to contemplate if it is not by now done.

Anne Bradstreet puts it as it is. We came here with nothing and by the same context we leave having experienced beauty and horror in between.

We are merely part of the animal kingdom IMHO.

    Great Video

  • That was absolutely amazing. truely great.

  • I absolutely adore your drawings.
