  • I still get goose bumps at the switch from the ukulele to the electric guitar solo. One of the greatest Beatles songs.

  • megusta mucho la parte cuando suena la guitarra electricaa!!

  • A beautiful tribute to a brilliant man....gone but never forgotten....we will love you always George.

  • +10!

  • Beautiful song.

  • Perfect!!

  • I guess Ringo really doesn't need to be in the title.

  • Two genius!

  • Just beautiful.........enough said.

  • its kinda like he's paying tribute to george and john's mom. she played ukulele and john said he always like the ukulele because of her

  • So Good!

  • i love how there are so many guitar players and bass etc, but i absolutely hate it when there are 2+ drummers..... this isnt needed!! RINGO would have sufficed.

  • This is culture,fanatastic!!

  • The guy playing the quitar before Eric is Alvin Lee of Ten years after a great player himself.

  • @autdav1 Alvin Lee didn't participate in the Concert for George. You may be confusing him with Albert Lee, who is playing a white acoustic guitar here. The other electric guitarist here is Marc Mann (black cap), who recreated George's guitar parts from the original recordings throughout the concert.

  • I like the idea of Clapton singing a Harrisson's song for Patty Boyd.

  • @darkestenprison If I remember correctly, I listened to a George Harrison interview where he said that, something wasn't about patty, and he just wrote it for the hell of it. But Isn't it a Pity is a about her.

  • clapton is singing about the same chick haha

  • George Harrison I MISS YOU you and John lennon <3<3<3<3

  • jeff lyne looks like one of the muppets...

  • WHAT ABOUT RINGO I THINK HE'S PLAYING DRUMS

  • IN MEMORY MY OF MY UNCLE N FATHER BILL WOODFIN THE SAX IN THIS IS U , MISS U

  • wow.. This IS a old Chestnut.. but Paul's Hi-harmony singing w/ Eric is

FABuliss... really cool interp.. nice Ukelele playing by Paul.. sweet nod to George,

too,who was a big fan of the humble uke.

  • 2:55 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • simplemente son unos genios...

  • Nice to see this before...

  • I can't remember the guys name who is playing the guitar solo on 'Something'...but he is one hell of a musician....everyone uses him. He played in Jeff Lynne's backing band (and god knows what else he has done). He never misses a note. I think when he was born...he's first fart would've been the melody of Glenn Miller's 'In the Mood'

  • When everyone comes in at 1:32...that's orgasmic...

  • Wonder if its awkward for Eric, you, know, singing a love song his best friend wrote about his ex wife

  • simply amazing. this is real something..

  • This gets me everytime

  • Yikes, this performance gave me shivers up my spine. The original is justifiably regarded as one of the greatest love songs ever written, so then to have Eric and Paul do this number in the tribute concert is really quite awesome. And of course, Eric and George both wrote love songs for the same woman....she must have been SOMETHING.

  • Did somebody know who is de leader guitar in tis song?

  • Hey theres ringo there, fuck off you other drummers.....

  • 1:32 I love it so much

  • i agree what a dirt bag

  • Please no one even acknowledge the troll below me trying to get attention.

  • Si se juntan dos profesionales como Eric Clapton y Paul McCartney que más se puede esperar?

  • AWESOME!!!

  • O que leva um ser humano, assistir este video e não curtir?

  • Epic!!!

  • Who's that guy playing the sunburst strat in the beginning, behind paul?

  • @PAULisDEADMANnumber9 marc mann says all the musicians names are in the info below the video click show more and you will see his name under solo guitar

  • happy birthday, George!!!:)

  • my sweet george :'D

  • Its kinda weird missing someone that died before you were born...

  • @MrThatGuyWhoShanks

    youre like 10 ?!?!?

  • @MrThatGuyWhoShanks How old are you? He died in 2001

  • @TrailBlazer65 Maybe confused with Lennon;-)

  • @Choefoe lol yeah

  • @MrThatGuyWhoShanks I know exactly how you feel.

  • @MrThatGuyWhoShanks you're 10?

  • @MrThatGuyWhoShanks you're awesome kid.. peace

  • @MrThatGuyWhoShanks

And it's kind of weird missing someone ten years after they died. I know how you feel.

  • @glabpat hey i know how u feel, my uncle bill gone 8 years now ,EXCELLANT sax player , cancer like G Harrison

  • @MrThatGuyWhoShanks are you like 10 or something?

  • @MrThatGuyWhoShanks You're 11?

  • @MrThatGuyWhoShanks How old are you then, 10?

  • 33 people are idiots!

  • Hey... other drummers... Ringo's there, so you can leave now. Thxbye

  • i wish you be here George ... we miss you and we love you

  • "My favorite Lennon/McCarthy song"... Frank Sinatra..

  • @roo7227 lol its Georges song! haha frank haha

  • @roo7227 Sinatra covered it, it's a Harrison song

  • @landshark588 LOL.. I know it's a George Harrison song.. That's a direct quote, attributed to Frank Sinatra.. Ironic, huh?..

  • @roo7227 Jeez, you'd think he'd look into the song he's performing at least slightly

  • @landshark588 I'm presuming he did, before he got the rights to cover it.. Hey, we all make mistakes, even the "Chairman of the Board"..

  • @roo7227 crap bag.

  • The sound engineer on this is a genius. I mean: how do you make the organs & pianos, the horn section, the string section, 2 percussionists, 7 guitarists, 3 drummers and 8 singers sound so good? I would love to hear the original mix.

  • falto poner ringo star arriba che

  • Where can I download the complete concert?

  • Ringo Starr is perhaps at one time the most technical drummer in the world. Very seldom practiced. An extremely talented man. Why do you think John ,Paul and George hired him.

  • @marlonmillburn67 Very true he was good enough for them to fire pete best!

  • That was great! Going to watch it again and again!! legends!

  • so amazing -- the talent on that stage, and the talent of those that had gone....

  • Something in the way she knows

And all I have to do is think of her

Something in the things she shows me

I don't want to leave her now

You know I believe and how

  • sorry Paul, not this time , i did not like the intro,.. but when Eric takes over the solo and them vocals, was a trip.

  • Para llorar... GENIO ABSOLUTO!!!! Saludos desde San Juan, Argentina!!!! Viva Paul!!! Viva George!!!! Viva John!!! Viva Ringo!!!! VIVA THE BEATLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I noticed this begins with just Paul & Ringo, George's surviving former Beatles bandmates....

  • Based on this clip, I'm going to get this disc. Thanks for the upload. It's why youtube helps me with buying stuff.

  • @Jedizen07 You won't be sorry-it's superbly performed and very moving-one of the best music dvd's I've got

  • im ringo's hairdresser man, trust me he wrote them songs!

  • Heartfelt tribute to George, fully emotional. Thanks Paul, Ringo, Eric (and rest of band).

  • ringo wrote octopuses garden, dont pass me by and co wrote what goes on with lennon/mccartney ya big turnip

  • @facialcrumpet1987

Not true, Ringo didn't write at all, Paul and John or just Paul would write a "Ringo track" for Ringo, for each album. Ringo is not a writer. Paul wrote Octopus's Garden.

  • @2NaughtyLittleFly2 Who cares. There are many iconic singers that did not write music. Elvis, Bing, Dino. Frank etc etc. The point is, pretty much every song Ringo sang as a bealtes was a hit because he is AWESOME. I am proud of you that you know who the Beatles are though. Good Job!

  • @dejahthoris

No, not every song Ringo sang was a hit, just the ones written Lennon and McCartney. Ringo has been doing his "All Star Band" and releasing solo albums which promptly land with a thud. He was the perfect drummer for the Beatles and played into the Beatles humor in the earlier days, but on his own he is anything but "awesome". Oh and by the way, go fuck yourself.

  • @2NaughtyLittleFly2 You should be so fortunet,, Ringo IS fantastic in his own rite, not because he,s Ringo, Because he,s talented... He may of Landed with a thud at your house...But in mine he,s a privlage to have play on my stereo ... the one Beatle who in his own right never forgot who he was dispite the triles and tribulations he,s endured as being the "shadowed" Beatle and your tossing a brick at Ringo????? Shame on you, you obviously know nothing about talent....

  • @izzynutz2000

Yes he is fantastic in his own right...in his own right...but as a solo artist...he's all yours.

  • Ringo wrote octopuses garden did he not?

  • @DrBeatlesfan420

No, Paul wrote that. Ringo didn't write anything, he was (is) not a writer.

  • @2NaughtyLittleFly2 okay thank you i wasent 100% sure about that

  • @DrBeatlesfan420 He co-wrote Don't Pass Me By, Octopus's Garden and What Goes On with Paul. He is credited as a songwriter of those songs.

  • yes...

  • Paul's harmony in the chorus is amazing

  • @HandBMedia Of course its paul lol.

  • @HandBMedia Jeff Lynne's harmony in the verses is awesome too...as well as the sax playing

  • @MrChip9700; judging by your comment, you probably don't know that George was a dedicated Ukelele player, so Paul's tribute was spot-on, and I think the whole performance is brilliant, especially Clapton's.

  • The only pop song sinatra recorded

  • not to self: 1. get a ukelele. 2. self explanatory

  • I think paul playing the ukulele was an insult to george- like his song was easy and a joke - just seems wierd.. play guitar? wtf? but maybe im off on that.. i see no one else mentioned it...

  • @MrChip9700 the ukulele was george's favourite instrument..personally i love the ukulele and i only listen till paul finishes his part..and george and paul were mates, their relationship was greater than brothers..i dont think so they could insult or joke in any such way..peace bro..keep the spirit of the beatles alive \m/

  • Comment removed

  • @MrChip9700

Its a tribute to George, who loved the uke and played it a lot. Plus it builds dynamics leading up to the full band...dynamics are important in a live show.

  • @2NaughtyLittleFly2

    Dynamics are important period haha.

  • te extraño George Harrion!

  • Paul had George slowly killed as revenge for disagreening with him on "Let It Be" movie. He held a grudge all these years. Dr. Clapton poisoned him with his discordant twang on his guitar....lol

Sad but true. They heard George's guitar gently weep afterwards.

  • This just emotionally crushes you!

  • @arminmne2006 I agree 100%

  • Nothing against the others they are great but Paul and Eric should have been on every song that was played that night! Because they kick ass!

  • ringo 4:07 fijense bien

  • ringo esta escondido ... fijense bien.

  • Paul McCartney and Eric Clapton AND RINGO!!!

  • @rafaelsystemdown And Billy Preston =)

  • beautiful voice !!!!

  • @MegaAssassin45 no son d ellos son de todos ... its true

  • muzikale hemel is dit!

    A musical heaven, this is!

  • there are no words to describe this performance.. perfect is reductive.

  • nice :

  • is there tabs for this?

  • Why are so many people up on stage?!? The beatles only needed 4 but im counting 8+

  • @00TheTripleGuru00 there all their to show their appreciation and celebrate georges life

  • @00TheTripleGuru00 This is late Beatles, long after they stopped playing live. It was never written for a four piece. Even if it had, they needed all the other people for other songs and if they're going to be on stage anyway, might as well give them something to do.

  • Est ce possible de ne pas aimer cette vidéo !

  • Perfect.

  • i wish he wouldn't have done it in swing time.... it makes it sound cheesy and vaudeville or something. Although it's kinda cute that way. I can't complain... nice version.

  • Again I am 14...Turn it down my Mom says,

  • Dhani must have had some interesting emotions hearing Eric sing that.

Eric really put his heart into that.

  • caracamano!

  • Thats, what I call music

  • His voice is good still.

  • oh my what a tribute to George, two thumbs up

  • my heart just exploded ,so if you heard some noise ,don't mind it that's just me!

  • alguien me podia decir como se llama el pedestal que usa paul McCartney para el ukelele o el conector que le pone al pedestal para poner el el microfono del ukelele

  • 2:55 The Best !!

  • why are people even rich

  • When Paul starts this song, everyone on the stage is thinking, This ain't the normal key. It is by the end of the song. It's back in C.

  • Fantastic vocals!!

  • da brividi.....grande paul...grande eric....

  • Timeless Song! Love it!

  • just eric and paul? WHAT ABOUT RINGO YOU BASTARD!

  • @withewidlle

Now answer me..who the fuck is Ringo Starr?

    He dont have any song.

Yellow Submarine, Act Naturally?, Paul wrote those songs...you dont belive me?

    Search.

    Thanks You

  • @ASDASDASDASDASD666 Johnny Russell and Voni Morrison wrote act naturally.

  • @ASDASDASDASDASD666 to answer your Question "who th fuck is Ringo Starr"n "there are 4 surviving U.S presidents.....there are only 2 surviving Beatles!" LA-Times. Amen! Does a drummer need to write songs too? He was the drummer of the Beatles so he was and still is a Beatle PERIOD!!!

  • @Choefoe , You are darn tootin. I was smoking a joint in my back yard the night George passed away busted up and lost. My good friend said to me " look at it this way, heaven has two. We have the other two. It is a fare shake." < Dale Youmans.

  • @ASDASDASDASDASD666 "who the fuck is Ringo Starr?" Call us if you ever pull your head outta yer ass, dip-stick!

  • @withewidlle lawl

  • @withewidlle And Billy Preston and Jeff Lynne both worked with the Beatles,

  • @withewidlle hes on drums.

  • is it me or is Paul's guitar a bit small

  • it's called a "ukulele"

  • @debbieakabubbles its a ukelele

  • Everyone thinks that George and Paul had this war of a friendship, but Paul and George had the same feiendship as John and Paul. Paul was Georges best man when he married.

  • This is just the best concert ever.

    Ringo, Paul both together.

John and George there in spirit.

    AND Eric Clapton!!

  • @JoshhLyons Don't forget Billy Preston and Jeff Lynne!

  • That`s REALLY GREAT !!!

  • 英語圏の人間に生まれたかった・・・・

  • I had goosebumps in the second chorus, with McCartney harmonizing over Clapton's lead vocals. Also kudos to the guitar player who nailed the solos. Beautiful performance.

  • @gpeddino Yes, I'd have to say the whole rendition of this song is amazing, but the two parts you singled out are indeed amazingly done and still give me goosebumps also

  • que le pasa le quita la trama sinceramente

  • Best cover of "Something" ever! It takes a Beatle and a Clapton to cover a Beatle.

  • Oh George, 10 years gone...

  • Something in the way she moves, atracts me like no other lover, esas palabras marcaron mi vida para siempre, grande George Harrison

  • 3:39 to 3:42 how do you even come up with that saxophone tune?

    That's why I love musicians:)
