I always laugh at how quickly people are to criticize on youtube... perhaps post a video of yourself performing this piece. As for the gentleman performing here, nice job! This is not an easy piece to perform, even when you are well prepared, which it sounds like you were.

Im trying to play this song for fun and having braces really makes this stuff hard. Try playing countless high notes with metal sticking into your lips...not fun, but I sound probably a little worse than this after a little practicing.

kinda muddy, and for pieces like this you should really try and memorize it so you don't have a stand that you're staring at, also dynamics, it was loud for the whole thing from what it sounded like to me. and be sure after the high F to have your embouchure set for the low F. But nice double tonguing at the end

i doubt he got a trigger only for this song...no matter what kind of trombone you have, you always play notes in the positions you're most comfortable with (atleast for me)

Your soo true.. I've got a trigger, I hardly use it.. However, when i do it helps a lot!! the main reason for the trigger, its that ones with the F plug normally have a larger bore, making them better for this sort of stuff where a rich tone is needed..

I'm sorry... That' was quite possibly the absolute worst performance of this piece ever conceivable. I don't even know what to say besides hand me another trash bag because I filled up the first one during the first 30 seconds of this performance.

wow i have alot to say. beginning was a little shaky. when you got to the first variation it got alot better. and as you went towards the end it kept getting better and better. very nice playing. and the super f was flawless. amazing note! =]
