Yeah but only the XPS has configurations for OVER CLOCKING preinstalled. Just check the video about XPS overclocking. Also, this kid covered the botto of the laptop with the case. No air passes in the motherboard and the laptop overheats, so it goes slower. :p

The black one pretty much played everything maxed out. And that was with the 7900gs. I use to have a dell tower with the massive GTX geforce card that played everything no problem. You can get that card on the 1710 now. So get that and you will be good to go.

I just have a cube PC now the laptop is long gone. My cube is a simple XP3200 with a last generation radeon and 1 gb of memory. The kicker is the 32" widescreen LCD monitor. That kicks ass.

Alienware was bought by dell "Dell Beams Up Alienware - Forbes dot com" I guess the only true highend laptop now is Falcon Northwest and they are $5-8 grand. Truth is in the hardware, you really cant knock down any computer anymore as long as they are running topnotch components.
