Thank you so much for posting this vedio. It is very much interesting to notice the appearances of actors in srilankan screen in 50's, 60s & 70s

They look very orginal & charismatic. They were also very uniqe at the time they apperead in the screen. There is also a big variation from one actor to a nother.

I think Ravidra Rupasena looks very good & I am sure he must have had lots of admirers.

The song is beautifull too

Dear Palitha,

Nice to see the real life couple Lina de Silva and Ravindra Rupasena on silver screen.

I thought the singer was A M Rajah who also sang songs for 'Seda Sulang' in the 1950s, correct me if Im wrong.

Thanks for the lovely comment, yes AM Rajah sang many sinhala film songs during 50's to 60's.

But this is R Muttusamy's voice, and there is another version of the song from Sujatha too.
