This would be good news, except their game FarmVille was running the same adverts and was left alone. FB will allow Zynga alot of freedom until Zynga chokes itself.

Hate to tell you all this, but they are not the only ones that do this. Facebook alone does too. I have found several that do the same thing. People just need to watch what they download or install. And any kind of toolbar is Adware, some are just easier to get rid of than others. I am not defending the guy by no means, I am just saying he isn't the only one.

I had no idea until my computer was freezing up on the games. I started to look into the reasons this could happen and stumbled upon an article and this video. I have since then took the games off and let people know my experiences. I also sent the article I found plus this video. I am a San Francisco based developer and I am not out of touch. Please don't bundle everyone with companies like Zynga. We went for 8 months with no pay and no funding to get our product out, and we did it with quality and we did it well. No screwing over users. FB is going to hold out as long as they can. Zynga represent up to 20% of FBs ad revenue. When Zynga violated FB policy by allowing 3rd party scammers to advert in their new game FishVille, FB banned the game for three days. This would be good news, except their game FarmVille was running the same adverts and was left alone. FB will allow Zynga alot of freedom until Zynga chokes itself.
