My children's mother went down a similarly bad road after our divorce. She is in jail for 4 and a half years now and left me with 2 babies to raise. On the occasion I talk to her I hear her say the same things concerning being close to god. I've been wondering about telling her the truth about her delusion... Maybe I will.
christian faith is so fucked up. All it does is gives you different perspective and angle to look at the shit in your life. The circumstances don't change and if they do it's becasue of something you or someone else has done to intervent and make it happen. I spent most of my life, wasting time waiting for gods direction and its gotten me NOWHERE! I hope yur ex or anyone adheres this. You wanna change things in your life...rely on yourself and those that love you..not some myth.

I'm a little bit worried as you don't look too god, and judging from your video the development of which you speak has been and still is troubling you. In other comment you mentioned, that you've lost your love for her. I do not believe, that you don't have _any_ feelings for her. Brushing it off by saying, that you just feel sorry for her - will it improve your situation? Thank your for the update, live life Lifelife8072. @mrh3h I'm not trying to improve my situation. I do this series for people that may need help or have been in the situation I was in. For atheist or religious people alike. I have received a ton of PM's from people and helped them through their similar situation. If they take my advice, then fine. @hdfailure You did not offend me at all ;-) She could of been reaching out to me. Only she knows this. She holds her feelings in and that's why she breaks down. I have always told her to let her true emotions show, but never did. I lost my love for her. Our love will never be what is was. Her parents will always be involved in her life preaching the bible to her saying she's living the path of satan.
She sounds like she's been driven insane, and i don't mean that in the joking way the phrase is sometimes used. If it wasn't religion she had been told to cling on to in this new backwards view of the world she has been, well I suspect forced into, it would be seen as a form of insanity. Her family have effectively broken her brain. It's sick...
It kinda sorta reminds me of that friend who was going in and out of mental institutions for his depression. He obviously needed a kick in the butt to put him back on the path of normality and peace, but only himself could deliver the kick of salvation. Every time I met him when he was coming out of the institution, it was draining my energy and not helping him one bit, so the choice became clear : give him my advice and wishes, and stay away.
Somehow you knew it would come to this I think. Just be careful, people like this can really draw you into their world, and before you know it, you get sucked up into it. It's the sort of thing that never ends,,,,,,
@dannukesem Don't worry, I will not get sucked up in this. I will not be there to help her if she comes to me for it. She dug her own grave when it comes to that and she knows it. I wonder if she was trying to reach out to me as she's very good at hiding emotions. I actually ended up telling her to have a great life and hung up on her. Think she got the point? ;-)
@Livelife8072 I am kind of like you in some ways, so I have learned. I have always been a caring person, and that can get you into trouble. Plus going through alcoholism with family,and spending thousands of dollars to "help". None of what I did really helped at all.
@dannukesem It really doesn't. It depends on a positive outlook which you can teach people to a certain point. As long as people with religious views don't interrupt or poison that theory or thought. Everyone has their ups and downs in life. You just have to think positive and get over them the best you can. In the end it always works out for the best in my opinion.
