mm, my cavalier Billy has shocking knee and hip conditions, which are also common with spaniels, but his were exasebated by his abnormally large frame. amazon billy!

Great vid. Winston is a star and an exceptioonal puppy. To those of you looking to purchase a CKCS, please buy one from a reputable breeder recommended by the AKC or CKCSCUSA. The health problems with the breed should be considered and looked out for and puppy mills should not be supported.

So, so true! Excellent advice!

Although Cavaliers are amazing dogs, they have hereditary heart problems as well as a tendency to develop a neurological condition called Syringomyaelia... never, never buy a puppy from a pet store or a breeder who keeps their animals in poor conditions. In fact, never buy anything at all from pet stores that sell puppies.

Yup.

Although if your dog does turn out to have a heart problem (like mine) remember that he/she still needs to be loved just as much as any dog.

Your dog can still live its life happily, just remember to take the vets advice on what to do & not do.
