This seems very similar to WeGAUGE software but from the beta testing i have done with their software and bluetooth obd2 scanners it seems they have some pretty significant advances over most of the other software out there.

Because developers are not allowed to access directly to raw bluetooth data (bluetooth can be used only for transferring data between 2 iDevices or to connect Audio systems)

@cmsch180 True, but ODB2 using the J1850 protocol only runs at 100 Kbps. Even the old Bluetooth v1.2 is capable of 732Kbps. Bluetooth v2 = 3Mbps. Both are more than capable of dealing with the data transfer. There are some bluetooth odb2/ CAN adapters on the market.

So if I am correct, if you use this for keeping an eye on your turbocharged engine via your iPod Touch, you can no longer access the music on the same iPod to transfer to your car stereo or is this still possible at the same time? I am thinking of using this or the plx 200 OBD gauge if it is not possible... i would like some feedback as I already have an iPod instead of a cd changer and to be able to use the 2 at the same time in one device would be great. Thanks :)
