  • I bought the soundtrack from the composer's website. It was composed by Nick Bicat. He even autographed it for me.

  • WE need lyrics

  • this movie scares me to death but I love the rest of it. :)

  • A masterpiece movie, an unequaled performance by George C. Scott

  • @johntellmewhy He did an amazing job with faking that British Accent. Considering he's American...

  • This is by far my favorite version of "A Christmas Carol." I just watched the Patrick Stewart version and, honestly, I was disgusted. Horrible cast. Bob Cratchitt looks like a weird version of Dr. Who or something. And the ghost of Christmas Yet to Come has woman arms. XD. Anyway.... God bless us everyone!

  • Masterpiece version of this Christmas classic from the brilliant soundtrack to the incredible cast. Viewing it right before Christmas has become tradition.

  • It's my favorite production of Christmas Carol too; still the gold standard of them all as far as I'm concerned.

  • I soooo want this album... can anyone tell me if the "I saw three ships" song is on there?

    Thank you

  • woo, go Shrewsbury... obviously where it was set... Great music :)

  • this movie brings back childhood memories. it can even give a scrooge as myself a holiday feeling!

  • This is the best Christmas Coral EVER. It always puts me in the right mood for Christmas!

  • Another Christmas season draws near! God bless us everyone!

  • Ack, sorry. His name's Nick Bicât.

  • Just FYI - if you want to buy this great soundtrack, I just discovered it's available for purchase on the composer's website

  • @veladarney Awesome! It only took 27 years.

  • @AdamBombe Yeah - couldn't believe it! I got the CD now and only way I'll ever part with it again is if someone rips it from my dead, cold hands. *lol*

  • @AdamBombe Well put, good sir.

  • @veladarney OMG. Thank you sooooo much for letting us know. It really does mean a lot. I remember when you had to contact nick himself to get the CD. Thanks.

  • @WitheredSpaceMaN Actually, when I ordered the CD, I got a mail from him asking me to let him know whether the CD arrived safely. *gg* Still seems to be sending them out himself.

  • Half way to Christmas!

  • Awesome. Love hearing this song. Puts me in the Christmas mood-even in June-lol. I bought the soundtrack from the composer. Great songs!

  • Many thanks indeed for uploading this music. :)

  • This is my very favorite version EVER!!!!Absolutely love this.

  • George C. Scott is THE MAN!!

  • Business!? Mankind was my business! The common welfare was my business; charity, mercy, forbearance, and benevolence, were, all, my business. The dealings of my trade were but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of my business!

  • Thank you!

  • Such a beautiful song! ^_^

  • Man I love this song soooo much!!

  • mmh this song makes me all warm and fuzzy inside :)

  • It's time to listen to this beautiful song again! Merry Christmas to all! "God bless us, everyone!"

  • First version of A Christmas Carol that I ever saw. Still think it's the best one, though Patrick Stewart isn't bad as Scrooge, either.

  • watch this every christmas and i was watching just now and it ended so i thought i would find the songs thank u

  • Scotts coat...LOVE! I want that kind of coat. So timeless and classy

  • Awesome! There is, by far, no greater version of The Christmas Carol than this version. My Christmas is never complete without it.

  • I have always admired Mr. Scott he was an awsome actor, this is my favorite version of A christmas Carol ever

  • Such a great score this film has. I wish it would be released.

  • Awesome job on mixing the two songs into one beautiful number!

  • Does anyone know the artist? This is such a beautiful song.

  • @ViolentMoonRat Nick Bicat did the score for the movie. Not sure who the choir is on the vocal section.

  • @ViolentMoonRat I believe it's was "Nick Bicat" who composed this score and wrote the song.

  • @HuntDownThatSong You are correct sir.

Every year for 20 years, I put the tree up while watching this movie.

    It's a classic !

  • Thanks for sharing this beautiful music & song!

  • This song will always pick your spirits up (no pun intended). The George C. Scott version of A Christmas Carol is the best bar none. The scenery, acting and music far exceed the others.

  • I always loved this song and especially from this film ^^ Although Christmas is already over, it made me so happy to hear it and let me feel again this Christmas spirit *o* So thanks a lot for uploading it!

  • nice work combining the tracks. Looking for a high (higher than my vhs rip :p) quality rip for ages.

    thanks

  • The past of man was cold as ice / He would not mend his ways. / He strove for silver in his heart / And gold in all his days. / His reason weak, his anger sharp, / And sorrow all his pay, / He went to church but once a year, / And that was Christmas Day.

  • {V2} The present man is full of flame: / He rushes here and there. / He turns away the orphan child, / The widow in her chair. / He takes more than he really needs, / Forgets how brief his stay, / And stands a-jingling of his coins / In church on Christmas Day.

  • {Ref} So grant us all a change of heart, / Rejoice for Mary's son; / Pray, Peace on earth to all mankind, / God bless us everyone!

    {V3} The man to come we do not know: / May he make peace on earth, / And live the glory of the Word, / The message of the birth, / And gather all the children in / To banish their dismay, / Lift up his heart among the bells / In church on Christmas Day. {Ref}

  • thank you for putting this up! i looked for it the other day after having watched the film (which I watch every single year without fail) but i could only find a short version of it, which was a bit rubbish. but you've come to my rescue putting this up, thank you :) Can I ask where you got the track from?

  • @ThisIsAnthonyJames -- It's a simple rip directly from the film. You can hear a few lines of "Merry Christmas!" from some extras at about 1:00. I mixed the two versions together since I think it makes a nice full track!

  • @AdamBombe are you german by chance?

  • @TehKazangsta Some German blood on my father's side, but my family's lived in the US for many generations.

  • The best version of a christmas carol bar none... Only wish there was a complete soundtrack for this.

  • @kendallwandm His email address is nickbicat@mac,com. Sorry for the mistake earlier.

  • @kendallwandm write to Nick Bicat at nickbicat@mac,com and he will send you one. About $11 pounds ($18 US dollars). I enjoy it. Good luck! Tom

  • @kendallwandm: There is a complete CD soundtrack! You can order it from Nick Bicat's website.

  • @kendallwandm I agree! it's not christmas until this movie is played! i love this movie and soundtrack.

  • this was the best version of a christmas carol in my opinion love the tune

    thanks

  • Thank you so very, very much...for this treasure. :)

  • Awesome, thanks!

  • Yes, beautiful. Thanks!
