making a damp sound for a guitar is possible in FL. The output may vary from pretty lame to realistic..There are lots of technique for guitar, remember the output quality may differ according to the fx or the fonts after you export the track.

Prominy Lpc clean library is available on torrent, guitar rig as well. You can probably just take the midi outputs from this song and use the keyswitches too make it sound more realistic. At least youtube prominy lpc, its a keyboard demo of it that'll blow your mind : D

FL Slayer's "damp" param, helps mimic the varying amount of pressure applied to the string against the neck i.e. when you press your finger down softly, you get that short, punchy (muted) sound as you pluck - more peculiar to heavy rhythm guitar.

Alternatively, you could befriend a REAL starving guitarist and have him lay those for ya.

this isnt fl slayer fags. its a shitload of channels (some 3x osc) compiled into one layer. you can find it in 'Tesseract' in the cool stuff part of fl studio 7. it sounds good but you cant dampen it :\

Yeah. It's what I use. Though, I did some messing with it, and it sounds 6 times better than the original, and about 20 times better than FL (I think it stands for "Fucking Lame") Slayer.

Sadly, you can't. You can only find it in FL Studio 7 under the "Tesseract" project. You basically just modify that. YOu can either have someone send it to you, or you can find it on a torrent site. Google "Tesseract flp". You'll find it. First result, actually.

Because the "instrument" is made up of a crapload of 3xOsc and effects/filters. And FL Studio already has all of that, so all you need is a working copy of FL Studio and the .flp file. After that, you're set. And, what I do is I shifted things around a bit and made a templet out of it. PM me your email, and I'll send it to you. It actually sounds better than the original Tesseract.

Man, just touch up the guitar very very finely with a detuning technique and I so would not know the difference, I can still hear the midi but its very good sound design wise!
