Hi I just cottend on to your harmonica demos & well Im so happy I have. I have been playing for a number of years & have been fairly comfortable ( lazy )with my ability to date but you have demonstrated some of the most fundamental & important aspects of harmonica playing that really has me excited again so thanks & keep up the good work I really look forward to going back over what I have missed & what you have coming up.
You sure are groovy, but I am better. (: Nah, But I can measure up, been playin' for awhile, as well as guitar...the blues are amazing, with any instrument. (:
Hello, my name is Rosario and I'm writing from Italy, I would like to ask you a favor, you could do a dedication to me (Rosario) and my friend (Bruno) who died?
We played together and he played the harmonica, I can play it.
You have your own distinguished sound. Amazing! I can hear one wah, warble or half step bend and know instantly it's you playing. Lovin' it. Keep it coming!!!!
hey guys im a newbie here i got my first harmonica today and im looking for some good, easy songs to lean so if you guys dont mind send me some songs and il look it up on youtube or whatnot, and my harmonica is a C so please send me songs that were made with a C harmonica.
He was, but he wanted high harps and use the 4,5,6 overblows to get the full blues scale in the middle octave. What Ronnie is doing here is stuff similar to James Cotton and Carey Bell's styles.
Inspired me to pick myne up again. Thank you. BTW, where did you get the backing track? Is it downloadable? Blessings.

@ManshedTV thanks, yes the backing track is downloadable. It is Jam Tracks Vol1 from my website listed in the video description.

Will is all be for G harps? Or will it be able to apply to any key?
dboyzero 2 years ago
1st position is most commonly used and best suited for these harmonicas: G,Ab,A,B,Bb
but you could use any key harmonica. The high register will be too high on high key harmonicas however.

it's funny really, but I find it hardest to play the harp in its natural key. For me Cross harp or 3rd position are so much easier and natural.
This vid goes a long way to show what practice can give you.
