  • That kitchen appliance of a car wouldn't come close to the TVRs.

  • TVR fans are pretty butthurt over this video. your TVRs are good in a straight line and can reach high speeds, but on a tight track like this of course the NSX-R will beat them. Reply to this comment with your bullshit argument, i'll be happy to tell you exactly why you're wrong.

  • @gripracer those ppl don't know what they're talking about

  • I have no doubt an NSX-R could take these cars on Tsukuba. Bring them to Suzuka!

  • And to those of you saying it can't possible keep up in a straight line, in the search box, type in "nsx r test." You will get a video with Japanese writing and 0-400 m, which is 1/4 mile, it did a 12.5. 0-60 mph in 4.4, maybe even faster with these drivers.

  • HAHAHA, I don't know whether to laugh or cry at all of the butthurt Europeans crying over this video. Best Motoring can be biased towards Japanese cars, they drive them more enthusiastically, but I don't believe they let the Japanese car win on purpose. The NSX-R has immense capabilites on the track, it recorded a 7:56 on Nurburgring with a 60+ year-old driver. I'm also quite certain it makes more than 280 hp, probably closer to 315-320. It's also a lot more stable than the TVRs.

  • @BerryA86

best motoring is so unbelivable biased that they drove the Porsche 997 GT2 RS 5seconds a lap slower around Fuji in their last track battle vs LF-A, GTR, ZR1 etc as it was tested by a unbiased japanese car agazine around Fuji.. driven hard it would have disenchanted the japanese hero cars in one lap and destroyed after 5 with a 20second lead

  • @nagmashot I might've seen that one, and I think the reason for that was the driver they chose to drive the Porsche. If you still think they're biased, in the search field I want you type in SAYONARA FUJI, and watch the Porsche GT3 driven by the same man that was driving the NSX-R in this video demolish the NSX and leave the rest of the Japanese cars far behind. Again this is my opinion, I can't read their minds, but I think they're honest.

  • TVR's look pretty intimidating to drive, so doesn't surprise me that someone who's driven a tuned NSX many times could beat them on this track. TVR's rule tho.

  • bahaha clearly fake as the tamora was leading all the other tvrs. the nsx is also tuned so what does this prove.

  • i admire the nsx and hondas.. i do.. i can almost tell that tne nsx is the better example of a pure sports car in a long time ... and i wouldn´t be admired that it could pass a TVR in corners but taking a TVR in a straight????damn..... i cannot believe that ...

  • Yeah right a NSX beatin a group of TVRs! Maybe it's the handling, but I'm pretty sure the NSX is in the A-class and the TVRs are in the S-class of cars! I know the Tuscan has like 360hp and the Tamora has 340hp

  • the NSX is a well done High tech race car while the TVR´s have pretty much the same technic under their bodies like the TVR´s 20 years ago

  • The Japanese car always wins, the most staged thing I've ever seen.

  • to stop all these arguments arising that this vid is propaganda, they should have brit and jap drivers in their respective countrys car competing, like olympic motorsport if u will.ps i love honda and tvr, hond is best quality but!

  • lol....it's almost like propaganda, isn't it?

no respect for the guys who produced this video. no nsx could ever hang with ANY modern tvr.

  • the guy in the Cerbera was sandbagging big time! he wasnt even on half throttle! ><! I think theyre scared if the superior power of the TVRs they just dont know how to drive them properly!

  • I bet a japanese dog would have beaten all the TVR's too

  • hmm what would happen if this were a hot lap battle, using only one driver?

  • Difficult heel&toeing on the Tamora? Something was rolling under the foot of the driver??? Besides, what happened to that car? It was overtaken easily by the NSX at 2:30...

  • Tamora's break problem,look at 2;10

  • @racingrally Yes, I see, but I don't know what exactly broke, ¿clutch pedal?

  • English cars are so incredibly gay. There really isn't even one good British car company. None of them can stay in business unless some one buys them and saves their asses.

  • Oh right so look at Ferrari is that independent? NO its Fiat! Lamborghini? oh yeh Audi/VW, Porsche had difficulty who helped them out? Mercedes! and in the first place we BRITS started the fucking German car industry! oh yeh ASTON MARTIN now 100% British again twat! Plus the most exclusive car on the planet was the later TVR's everything was made in house no parts bin from Audi VW Fiat etc!!!!! you really need a big slap! you know nothing so dont even bother commenting!

  • plus the NSX is a Super car against sports cars, it didnt really win by a lot did it! :s plus the Cerbera would have stayed with the NSX down the straight so how the hell didnt it i dont know, ohhh yeh its a bias test they dont even push hard down out of the corners, i think theyre scared of the amount of power from the TVR's plus that is a Cerbera 4.2 not the 4.5, if it was you would have a race on ur hands!!!!! and just to show im not bias I think the NSXR is one of the all time greats lovit!

  • @Monteguy88 Aston Martin? Land Rover? Caterham? Westfield? Bristol? Morgan? The last three IIRC have always been British and have existed independently for ages.

Also, you list your location as the USA... remember all those government bailouts you needed to give your main car manufacturer? IIRC in 2007 GM was about $39Bn in debt (while the Brits above were, I believe, turning a profit)...

  • Seriously!!!! This video PISSES ME OFF SOOOO MUCCCHHH!!!!!!!!!

  • Fkn japs, trying 2 say the nsx is better than the beauty of TVR and especially the Cerb. That nsx has been tuned out 2 the fkn max. GO FUCK YOURSELF U CUNTS

  • Iv been in a couple of nsx's and 1 of my brother's mates has the nsx-r..... It dosnt climb revs that fast,... im not saying its slow, but it dosnt go through the gears like that. Either it was more like 400hp or striped out with a short range box in it.

  • There is something clearly not right in this video. Either the driver of the NSX is a race driver, or the NSX isn't running normal spec. There's simply no way an NSX would catch a Cerb, doubtful it'd catch a Tam or Tuscan either.

  • ppl wake up it's not all about power and weight! LOL thats why u american's lve muscle cars! they are just a tank with some paint that do 10 seconds from 0 to 100km/h

  • @CONAPOWA

ppl wake up? I think it's you who needs to wake up.

0-100-0 mph measures not just pulling power but stopping power.

    Tamora 15.3

Cerbera does this test in 14.5 seconds

the NSX-R does it in 16

We can say, the Cerbera has at least 15% more power, weighs a Gorilla less in weigh, pulls away quicker, brakes quicker, and lets not even mention the difference in torque...and yet you say ppl need to wake up? and start going on about American cars which do not even feature in this video?

  • dude have u ever heard of balance? yes u need to wake up it's not all about the POWER and who has more torque or HP ! and yes i'm talking about american cars because most of you are amricans and think that the power is all that matters!

  • Ok please tell me you're not saying TVR's are american....if u r, u need a HUGE amount of sense beaten into you.

  • NO, LOL i know tvr's are british... i said that about american cars because i don't like them

  • What on earth has that got to do with this video?

  • i don't know loool, don't you ever wanted to do something or say something without a reason?

  • lol?

  • You my friend, are an imbecile. TVRs are BRITISH, fairly poorly built and certianly NOT heavy, Cerberas weigh in at around 1200kilos due to being a fibreglass body formed around a tubular chassis. In a straight line i have left a 911(997!!) turbo in my wake up to 160mph.

Fair enough NSX, mid engined fantastically engineered with a huge budget and F1 technology. Not to mention huge amounts of driver input from no other then the late Ayrton Senna RIP.

  • Yes it goes round corners well, but this video shows it outpacing a cerbera on a straight, a car which does 0-60 in slowest form in well under 5 seconds? Then this my friend is either no standard NSXR or...it's rigged. I reckon its rigged - The drivers in the TVRs look like they are dleiberately going at "sunday drive" pace. Not to mention that the tamora jumps ahead straight from the start which i also find hard to accept, it being the slowest TVR out there.

  • ok dude ur right, i'm sorry, probably, i mean for sure the nsx isn't in normal spec becuse it started fromt he rear and normaly they put the cars with lees power on the front...

    sorry about my english

  • An NSX taking a TVR Cerbera on a straight lol.

The next video from this mob will be showing us How Japan invaded Mainland USA and won ww2 using v-tec powered Tanks.

Even the Cerbera with the weakest engine of the Cerbera range has 350bhp and it's about 500lbs lighter than the NSX.

So right from the start the NSX is pulling around a Big Giant Gorilla extra in weight and doing it with far less power, and yet in Japan where the laws of Physics don't matter it's The NSX FTW lol.

  • @MrRaulMacca I'm not sure I agree with what you have said,,, It was hilarious though, VTEC Tank Yo!!!

  • @MrRaulMacca Lol i love the VTEC powered tanks. Good comment.

  • @MrRaulMacca are you sure you know about cars? all you see is power and weight?? have you seen the transmission ratio?? and the tyres?? and suspension?? and remember the track characteristics?? and the aerodynamic chassis?? and MR cars have more grip from the start than FR... i hope you have learn something today ;)

  • @MrRaulMacca You should see this guys other video where an NSX overtakes a spaceshuttle during re-entry.

  • @MrRaulMacca if u say that means that nsx is faster in the straight than the gtr 911 turbo and zr1?

  • Ha Ha get real... just got back from a track day..... NSX dont make me laugh.... NEVER EVER could it live with a TVR ... Two there today were just mobile chicanes for the Extreme Trevors... What a biased video.... Honda make boring cars and boring bikes.... like the fire..snore blade.. my mum could go shopping on one of those... OMG.

  • TVR drivers are short shifting a BEAST

  • A Nsx smoking a Speed6, yeah yeah, let's get real people, it's on Tv.

  • do you know what track that is you muppet!!!! its a of course the nsx-r is gonna beat that... if you knew anything you wouldnt have come out with such a twatish comment!

  • what about arguments? i can't see one.

  • we knowed the result befor because it was tested by BM ....

  • those european cars are super sport cars they are not track cars like the NSX its actually un fair that the NSX was in it in the first place

  • @heramoth what do you mean, you think this is fake or something ?

  • wow this race was either rigged or faked

  • Soon on BM, a NSXR smoking a Carrera GT xD

  • Hmmm... The NSX always seems to do rather well in these races. I appreciate the NSX is far superior in terms of chassis and handling, etc and most probably is quicker round the track, however seeing it walk past the tuscan (which is 2 SECS QUICKER TO 100MPH) is a bit suspicious. I like all these cars, but the race is biased (unsuprisingly) toward the Japanese motor.

  • BM is extrem biased towards japanese cars... and they know their NSX-R very well and always have the best driver in it. But lets get real...driven by the Stig the TVR Tuscan has smoked everything coming from Japan befor the GT-R, even a Evo FQ-400 is slower around the TopGear track than the Tuscan or Sagaris...same result in Germany were the Tuscan beat the NSX-R at the Hockenheim race track tested by sportauto

  • Ha ha that is funny ... all the TVRS would murder the NSX for speed...and sound!!

Put a TVR Speed 12 on there and see whos chassis is best!

NSX is for someone who cannot drive a real supercar.... ha ha !!

  • ese maldito honda esta equipado no puede ser q alcanse tan rapido a esos autos q tienen una aceleracion tremenda, ese maldito honda no le gana a un viper srt.10 normal y le pretende ganar a un tvr

  • NSX-R has a chassis that TVR can only dream of, good video, I still think Tamora is gorgeous

  • @mikes1471

The NSX chassie is so good that it was broken after 8hours racing the 24h northloop... the bumpy northloop broke the weak backbone of the NSX

  • If that NSX-R has 280bhp I'm Santa Claus!!!

  • More like 280Whp

  • Factory spec says the the nsx-r produces 280ps but in reality its alot closer to 300
