I think this quote fits perfectly. It isn't talking exclusively about 10, it's talking about the Doctor himself. The Doctor may change his face and personality, but the core of him will never change. He will aways be brave and brilliant. He will always be ruthless to his enemies and loyal to his friends. He will always be wonderful.

Actually, the 10th and the 11th ARE different people. They have different personalities. They are the same man, but they are nothing like the previous. The 10th is the kind of sexy, upbeat, and wounded (still suffering from loss caused by the Time War) but dark doctor, the 11th is the funny humerous one. But yes, this quote works for ALL doctors. I daresay (always wanted to say that!) that it's timeless (see what i did there). Excellent video though, just pointing some things out.:)

You said this was one of your most hated??!?? Some people cannot get past thesmall details like writting and if it was meant for the wrong actor. It was all meant for the doctor! No matter where or when he is, it still suits him and this video shows that brilliantly. Great job :)

I love the video and I think it would suit any doctor as they are all the same man (the doctor not the actors!) If one doctor is dark then its the same man being dark just with a different face. We'll all miss the 10th doctor but seriously people does it matter which doctor the quote is from? We're all free to do our own videos. Like I just saw a Rose/Eleven video and it was amazing and they aren't from the same era. It doesn't matter!

Human Nature was written for the seventh Doctor and eleven is basically 7 during the years when women fancied him. This quote fits so well with him, and yes he's a knight as well as being the night.

This video describes 11 perfectly! I feel like he was actually his darkest in the Rebel Flesh, when he is completely connected to the Flesh and he pushes amy against the wall. That was the darkest I've seen him And that wasn't for his friends. It was for the suffering of a whole group of people. Because he could feel everything they felt in their deaths.

Hearing these lines over clips of the 11th Doctor hold a different effect than the 10th, yet just as effective. Tennant, who some call the human doctor , his emotions & empathy seem more like us which makes the scenes of his rage stand out. Smith's doctor, clearly more alien in his thoughts & actions cause one to look at him much differently especially when angered. To all the doctors, the words fit, yet not always in the same manner. Same character, yet different. Gotta love Doctor Who.

@GriffithAMPS I think they fit post-war Doctor best, but you're right, they do describe the Doctor as he is and has always been very well. He's a Time Lord through and through. They're really not all that different from us.

I love this vidlet. In Demon's Run, we really got to see the two sides of the (11th) Doctor, which made his light side even lighter, but at the same time his dark side seem even darker ("Captain Run Away"; "Good men don't need rules"). Perfect to put these scenes to that quote. Good job!

All of these stupid comments about it not being Ten are starting to really bug the shit out of me. It's the same man, people! Gosh! Ten WAS darker in nature, true, but Eleven STILL HAS THAT DARKNESS. He's bubbly and quirky and moving about all the time, but if he ever stopped, if he ever slowed down, the darkness would be right there. It would take him over and there would be no stopping him anymore. He's silly, but it's only to keep himself from going crazy. And he can't ever let it take over.

While I do like the scenes you pick out to describe 11, I just don't think it works. Ten was dark and its only him or 9 who these suit in the new DW. Ten was still suffering from The Time War, and then he lost everyone that he loved and that pushed him into the darkness and sadly lead to him changing time in WOM and his death. Like you said 11 can be dark, but only for his friends, he rose an army for Amy but knew other things came first.
