@bobbyspongka There is considerable debate regarding the quality of her armor as it was forged with pre-world war II techniques (a British technique called 'cementing' developed in World War One battleships) which produced quite good, but inferior armor plate in comparison to the British, American, German and French armor formulas, which were all pretty much the same quality, but varied in design and thickness. Any questions are certainly welcome. Thanks!
The Super Yamato would have been able to easily outweigh the Yamato in any fight being designed with six 20" (508mm) guns in 3 turrets capable of firing AP shells weighing just over 1.8 metric tons, and 24 3.9" dual-purpose turrets in dual mounts (similar to the Akizuki destroyers) for excellent broadside AA cover. Her only weakness would have been to be alone with 3 battleships or 9 heavy cruisers, and submarines. She was cancelled after the loss of Midway in favor of carriers.
@TheJeffSoares i'm well aware of these debates.and sure if i have questions i'll ask then

She was also designed to have heavier armor and a bigger displacement.
