Hey mate, thinking of doing the same to my engine bay as you, how did you shine up the aluminium?

I did everything by hand. 1st step: sandpaper and water and plenty of patience
2nd step: always sandpaper but more fine
3nd step: at the end, abrasive paste and second product for polishing metal (i dont know name :s)

not for now ^_^ but after summer 2009 i hope to put manifold stainless steel + Front pipe (4-2-1) and eprom. just a soft modifications becouse here in italy its impossible to make legal your modified car :s
