i went to buy kelp at a korean store last week and the package said dried kelp but i ended up getting dried seaweed... how can i tell which is which?

Dried kelp is.. flat.. like piece of thick paper... but dried seaweed is.. like thick strings... so just by looking.. you can tell which one is which.. thanks
